SHERIFF WINS!!!!!!!!!!

Just so everybody knows, Judge Ison has ruled in the favor of the Sheriff! He said that the Sheriff has the authority to spen his money any way he sees fit. He must notify the county before disposing of any property, but the county can not in any form or fashion dictate to the Sheriff's Department how to spend money. The Judge also chastised both telling them to sit down and work this out and stop wasting taxpayer money.

I am all for that. The county commission needs to back off now and let this drop. It is high time to move on to July and have a change. We need commissioners who is more interested in frugality with our money than with pounding their chests to see who has the most power.

See you in July.

Great Job Judge Ison!!!

Yes, that is what happened today. As I have posted elsewhere, why not consider replacing Dunn with Maxwell who is certainly not going to go out of his way to upset the sheriff. That would give us peace and we could go on with governing the county instead of having the personal attacks and their defense at taxpayer expense. Feeding a commisioner's ego at taxpayer expense is simply wrong. I will vote for Maxwell.

This is up to to the voters in July. Vote against Dunn and Wells. Does not matter who replaces Wells. Anyone who does not automatically vote with Dunn would be a big improvement.

It's outrageous that Dunn can get away with this! What a mess! Not only has he wasted hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars, he has accused our law enforcement officials of breaking the law. I'm not sure what drove this seemingly intelligent man to make such a mockery of his position, but he sure has made a name for himself... unfortunately, the name is unprintable.
