Purple Ribbons?

Why are there purple ribbons tied to the street signs in the subdivision at the end of PT Parkway.

I am already signed up! Thanks for the info. I didn't make the connection with the ribbons. Usually purple colored ribbons mean something else. See you at the relay!

But, Maybe this year I won't have to listen to Macarana or whatever that stupid song is at 4:00 in the morning. That song along with a bunch of others should not torment those that live within a mile of the fairgrounds all night long. Please, please, please turn it down after midnight. Please I beg you. The families that live in earshot of all that racket now know what Manuel Noriega felt like when our troops blasted him out of his compound with ear shattering music. Tee Hee..Maybe that bedwetter Jeff Carter may come to our rescue. Well second thought probably not....We're not terrorist. Hurray for the Survivors. I got my pledges in. What's the schedule?
