Whats up with that house!

Does anyone know the story behind the house that is being "remodeled" on the corner of Peachtree Parkway and Stevens Entry? It has been going on for 2 years. The church across the street from it built a big new building in less than a year!

Don't you know that the owners of that house MIGHT be black. And now you've gone and made a critical remark about the duration of the remodel job. Somehow that's just got to make you a racist. Watch out. Someone with a bad hairdo is going to whack you with a cell phone.

How did I become a racist because I asked about a house that is being remodeled? I don't care if the owners are white, black, green or purple! Did you stop to think that I might be black?
You took a simple question, and turned it into a race issue. Shame on you!

I'm just poking fun at people that make race an issue out of anything. Just a little tounge and cheek.

I kept thinking in the back of my mind that you had to be kidding. How someone could get racism out of my question was beyond me! Very strange sense of humor my friend!

Strange sense of humor indeed. But humor has a way of getting us to look at serious issues without taking our selves too seriously or just flat out making ourselves mad.

Wise words my friend!

I have wondered that myself.

It started, then stopped, started again, stopped again and now seems to be in work again.

It is taking an extremely long time.

Maybe they ran out of money and had to wait to get more; or got sick or had an illness in the family. What difference does it make?!
Is this property "private" property, belonging to an individual or individuals? Is this America? Do they have the right to do whatever they wish as long as it is not in violation of any law?
I know....you're just curious. But remember...curiousity killed the cat. Smiling
