I found a wonderful drug... Meloxicam

I'm telling you this because you may or may not have arthritis..

I've always been active, but the past few years I hurt a lot. It got so bad I broke down n went to the MD for a check up. I could barely get out of the car. He x-rayed my hips and told me a had severe arthritis in both.

He prescribed this drug. I've only had one pill, but, last night was the best sleep I've had in a long time. If you had broken bones, pulled muscles, that is where the arthritis sets in. I must have had it all over because this morning I really feel 10 years younger. I practically river danced around my bedroom!

I'm not kidding, it is like a miracle drug for me. If any of you have been really hurting, go get checked. This drug is wonderful.

...some years ago called Maalox that has lessened the heartburn I get when tolerating the miscreant behavior of irresponsible adults, those so-called experts who seem to know much better than I on how I should view the world around me, politicians who prove daily that whenever their lips move they are lying, and those who belittle the efforts of American men and women in uniform when they have yet to walk in their shoes. Just a couple of examples:

Those pro-choice and pro-life zealots who refuse to understand the plight that a woman endures when making such a decision. Could it ever be as simple as an individual woman making the decision based solely on her own having knowledge that this action is between her God, her concience, and herself?

How about those anti-hunting PETA types who wish to ban all hunting in the name of conservation when we all acknowledge that the average hunter has more knowledge of conservation in their little finger than the average member of PETA. Or those advocates who will villfy anyone who puts down a family pet to better provide for their family when their only other choice is to dump it somewhere to starve.

How about those who believe it proper to pardon sex offenders based on their position in society (Roman Polanski) when had the same happened to their daughters, they would be up in arms despite what they profess. Those who believe that true justice will only occur when that terrorist from Guantanimo is tried in New York when the only true justice will occur is when they publish the time of their release on Times Square.

How about those who publicly praise the efforts of our military when it is to their advantage while hiding the fact that many, many military families get by on foodstamps?

I certainly could go on, but suffice it to say that those inside the Beltway really do need to reprioritize their efforts.

There is little in your comments above that I disagree with in it's entirety.
Of course those inside of the beltway are elected by those outside the beltway-=-many live here.

Politicians lie---no argument but generally they simply transpose the subject into something which sounds better.

The zealots of pro-life and pro-rights are excellent examples of religious interference.

The animal rights people should be discussing loose cats and dogs and not hunting!

Sex offenders come in two kinds: children and rapists. We have had this problem with humans since eternity but our population and electronics have brought much more of it to our attention. It stems from ignorance more than pure evil. Women want to attract men; men want any woman they can get and not get caught. That is why there are so many of the oldest profession and so many of those who utilize them.
That pill for that sickness for those who force the issue hasn't been invented yet.
Yes money and prestige and fear does have a lot to do with prosecution and sentences. Georgia's jails are full of those whom we fear and those we don't spend little time there and in country clubs.

The GITMO trials as opposed to a civil trial has but one purpose: To bring to light our terrible transgressions. I remember IKE ordering as many pictures taken of the death camps as was possible, because he said in 30 years no on would believe it.
I can not agree with vigilante justice in NYC.

As to the soldiers on food stamps this is caused by calling up the guard and reserves who already had families.
I am a proponent of the draft---with NO exceptions--even handicapped.
Also a much larger military in numbers to avoid failing to occupy what we can capture.

My friend, the most infamous of the Gitmo Bunch has been before a military tribunal and I believe was guilty. Irregardless, the purest of justice to me would be making public the time and place of his release near ground zero and tell him to start walking. Bringing more light to 'our' transgressions regarding 9/11? To quote Fred Sanford, "ARE YOU CRAZY, DUMMY?"

The Guard and Reserve call up to which you allude is crap!

Any intentional holding back of the whole truth is just another form of lying. It's a shame that Americans are fooled by this.

Submitted by Bonkers on Fri, 12/11/2009 - 6:33pm.

Well you shoot them on the way out if you wish. I'll loan you my M4.

Tribunals aren't very appropriate after torture.

I may be crazy one-track.

Guard and reserve call up is "crap?" Was never intended to be, that is why they joined.

Don't know of what you are talking about the whole truth.
Did someone hold back Abu Ghraib stuff? GITMO stuff?

Did anyone lie about the football player's heroism?

Hey, it is war isn't it?

I don't want us to be like the idiots who crashed airplanes into buildings (by torturing them) and then shooting them without abiding by our laws.

If you think the Iraqis and the Afghans will ever become capitalist, democratic, even partially honest societies---you have read the wrong history books about the last 5-6,000 years!

I know of no reason why the military can not abide by our laws just as most of us do.

The soldiers on food stamps aren't caused by calling up the reserves, When I was in the Navy, middle to late 70's, an E-5 with over 5 years service, with 2 children, qualified for food stamps. This is no recent problem, it's been going on since they invented food stamps, more's the pity.

I didn't have any food stamps either, nor did I have a wife and kids at home nor was I trying to build up a pension at home before active.
Did my hitch, left. No reserves or guard for me. GI bill was good.

I also had no money most of the time.
We could buy $1.00 beer for a pitcher's worth and 7.5 cents per pack for dried up cigarettes. When we ate out it was joints with $1 spaghetti. Washed our own clothes, cut each other's hair and traded cigarettes for rum.
We could ride a train for a few bucks--even cheaper on a bus for a week!

Is it just too hard to say "I was wrong?--when you say food stamps and military receipt thereof was because of "Guard & Reserves with families being activated?" Did you read and understand Hutch's post?

Submitted by Bonkers on Sat, 12/12/2009 - 7:07am.

Did these guys draw food stamps BEFORE they were activated?

It is one thing for a single guy to do well on the pay---another if he has a wife and two or three kids with no wife making any money!

I'm afraid I don't know what allowances these call-ups get for their families these days.

Reserves and Guardsmen and women are never ready anyway to fight. They are simply OBLIGATED to report and be trained properly. Remember at the beginning of Iraq war?
Ever attend a guard or reserve meeting? Mostly farce with old stuff.
I have worked with some of them.
They can quell a riot or guard.
You won't find many left in Guard or reserves as they get back.
Another system ruined by Bushie! (He was an excellent example of an old A-something plane trainee). Where would they have sent him to fight--they wouldn't, he would have needed two years of decent training first!

I guess you didn't read my post after all, the people I'm talking about were and maybe still are, regulars, not reserves, not Guard, REGULARS, Drawing food stamps.

Our Bonker$ never admits he is wrong, and doesn't concern himself too much with facts. But ya' gotta admit, he do dance around good.
