It seems that now welfare recipients are eligible for a free cell phone and here in the 30215 zip code 68 minutes of free time a month on that cell phone. Here's the web site https://www.safelinkwireless.com/EnrollmentPublic/home.aspx

Safelink is a division of TracPhone which is a division of American Movil , A latin American telecommunications Company headquartered in Mexico. I'd love to know what's really going on here.

This program works out great for Tracphone. They get the government to supplement their promotion and when the people who get the phones get addicted Tracphone can make extra $$$ selling phone cards to the poor. It's just like selling drugs. Giv'em just enough to get'em hooked.

Well how else are poor people supposed to communicate? The phone companies took away all the pay phones. Come on man, have a heart. Its not like there giving them to everyone. Just people who are already getting free stuff from the government. I mean really, how are you gonna give somebody food stamps but no phone. That's just heartless.
