Beware of CLM Sanitation!

Consumers, beware of hiring CLM Sanitation for your garbage pickup provider. For the past two months I have been trying to get a refund from them and have received nothing but the runaround. In June I paid for the quarterly service for July, August, and September, only to move away at the end of July. I called to cancel my service and asked them to please send my refund of the unused balance to my new address. After three weeks, I called to check on my refund because I had not received it. I was told there was a ‘no refund’ policy and that I would not receive one. I immediately checked any correspondence I had on file from CLM as well as their website. There was absolutely nothing printed saying there would be no refund. I wrote an email to them explaining that, and that they could not assume a customer would know of such an unwritten policy or impose such a policy without notifying the customer. They agreed to mail me a refund, but asked that I give them a month to receive the check.
I waited one month and a day before I contacted them to see where my check was. The CLM rep told me she would check on it and call me back right away. Two hours later I had to call them back again. I was told the check would be mailed the next day. (Obviously they lied about mailing the check to me a month before). That mail date would have been on a Friday. I called back the following Tuesday and told them I still hadn’t received the check . I was told it was mailed on that Friday. I said I would give it another day, and also asked to speak to the manager, but of course, “he was on another call.” The next day (Wed.) still no check. I called the manager and was again given an excuse of “He’s on another call.” I told the rep to tell the manager he needed to call me within the next 30 mins. or I would have to take actions he would not like. Within 10 mins. the manager called me to say he had a call into the processing center and was waiting to hear back from them. It is now a day later and no word back from him and still no check in the mail to me. This is not a company you want to do business with. If this is the way they treat their customers, please take my advice and take your business elsewhere.

I cancelled allied waste July 1 this year. Last week I got a letter of intent to sue me for a 50.60 bill. I called seeing as I didnt owe anything and was told to just ignore it and throw it away. My balance was 0 she said. The letter was a mistake. How many of you out there got that in the mail and paid it thinking you owed it. I think it was a scam
