Politics are the devil

Most of us do not want the government in our business. The folks that work hard pay too much in taxes (the folks who make 250k or less per year). Who is to blame? Democrats want to give our money to the poor, Republicans want to give major breaks to the rich. Middle Class are screwed. The real workers in the country have to carry the weight of the rest. I did not like the Bush Administration, and I fear the socialist tendencies of the Democrats in power even more. I think more folks are thinking this way. I am a fan of the fair tax and of allowing purchasing of health insurance across state line (allowing true competition and removing a big lobby from the state legislature). Government involvement in healthcare will only make for more taxes and less healthcare (I actually worked in GB and saw the results of Nationalized Health systems. )

In a nut shell
They all suck!!!

These people are full-blown socialists with every fiber of their being. Look at Pelosi just quivering with anticipation of controlling more and more of our daily lives. Fortunately health care nationalization is dead, but the Dems can't even spell insurance deregulation much less utter the words.

You are correct, rmoc the solutions to the real problems are simple. The Fair Tax and insurance deregulation are 2 things that have a realistic chance of happening on the coattails of a Republican takeover of Congress in 2010. Could even be veto proof if the Republicans can get united on those 2 issues and find some decent candidates. Freedom and Liberty will be a nice antidote to Hope and Change.

Fair Tax and insurance deregulation would almost certainly boost us out of our recession and create jobs. Probably need a third thing to round out the platform - maybe protect our borders or something like that.
