Do Politicians Think Everyone is Stupid?

Didn’t they know that people smarter than them wouldn’t degrade themselves by being a politician? Apparently not, since these idiot republicans keeping mailing me these questionnaires they think will make me feel important so I’ll donate money. Just because I used to be a republican doesn’t mean I still am. Certainly not after their betrayal of conservative principles; nor am I a democrat.
Today, I received their monthly questionnaire with the usual request for donations. Republican National Chairman Michael Steele says that I have been selected to represent republican voters in Georgia’s 3rd District to answer these questions. Boy oh boy, just think how important I am. These are the same type of general questions I’ve been answering for years that republicans never paid any attention to. Like, do you think the Federal government should continue to increase the deficit? Do you identify yourself as a conservative or liberal? Well you idiot, if I was a liberal, wouldn’t I be a democrat? One of my favorite questions is, do you believe Congress should reform “pork barrel” spending?
Dear Mr. Steele, since republicans don’t know the answers to these type of questions, please be advised that I am no longer a member of any political party and stop wasting postage on senseless questions. And No, I’m not going to send any more money to finance such stupidity.

I used to reply to those questionaires years ago when I was naive enough to believe they actually cared about my opinions and would fight for the common ideas that I thought we mutually held.

If the Republicans truly valued our opinions then why do they ask questions like Do you think the Federal government should continue to increase the deficit?; While in power they fail to uphold the same principles they campaign on.

Do you believe Congress should reform “pork barrel” spending.

Another question that has been asked in these fund raising questionaires that exposes the hypocrisy of the Republicans and proves they are no better than the sorry Democrats they supposedly oppose. Take Jack Kingston for instance. A Republican from Georgia that is one of the largest Pork Providing Pigs the Republicans have. I sat through many a Kingston speeches years ago hearing him give lip service to fiscal restraint while hauling in enough pork annually to keep him in office term after term. Another FORMER terms limits hack.

Indeed these fund raising letters never even get opened in the Git household anymore.... they find their way immediately into the shredables bin.

Campaigning like a conservative but voting and governing like a Democrat.

Obama.... The Bernie Madoff Of Washington
