I have a difficult time understanding your position on this. I don't believe anyone is advocating limiting pay for anybody. The problem comes about when the costs keep going up to support these salaries and bonuses. Sure, they are being rewarded for the job they are doing--but, at whose expense? When they cut the insurance of those that are sick and might be using their benefits--I hardly think that is fair. Typically, there is no justification other than the bottom line. I certainly don't care if every CEO in the country makes a Billion dollars a year but, just don't do it off my back!

you know I don't give a rat's a$$ how much companies pay their employees as long as they did not get a handout from the government. The employees taking a paid by taxdollars R&R makes my blood boil. If you have to borrow money or get a handout you don't need to ask me to pay for your vacation. Pay for it yourself or don't go. Take your employees to six flags or a ballgame.Don,t take the execs anywhere they don't deserve it.

But you see with the low taxes and salary deductions the corporations are allowed---basically your taxes are helping to pay them.

Even our local town management take R & R on the tax dole often! The Governor of SC took a lot!

If I made 6+ figures for a job.. then GOD BLESS AMERICA.. as soon as I was not producing then guess what.. I would be looking for a new job..
I know it is easy to vilify the CEO's its become in vogue to demonize the rich.. BUT.. how do you think they got the job?? Did they just get pulled off the street and given it to them??
If AIG wants to pay a 7 figure salary + bonuses to someone then that is up to them.. BUT that person will have to answer to the Board and the Stockholders.. failure to perform means you’re out.. and good luck trying to find another job..
THIS IS AMERICA.. not some Socialized feel good all is equal Country.. I work 12-14 hours a day plus weekends.. tell me how am I equal to someone who may work 8 hrs a day?? Should my pay be adjusted to meet some type of equal pay for all?
That is where we are headed.. First it's the CEO's then Management then Sales whose next you? How come you make so much when there are people who don't even have a job.. Shouldn’t your pay equal out to those with no jobs?

This is a dangerous trip down a road I don't want to travel..
France has such a system.. Look how great it has worked for them!!!

As for Insurance companys.. I agree.. that is why we need interstate competition.. BUT you have to ask our Government why we can not have it..
