Pray for Taylor

My friends, as most of you know I lost my sister almost a year ago to cancer and we lost the Wulfman to this disease also. I have a friend I went to school with who has a 10 year old child that has a tumor on her brain stem and has had repeated doses of chemo for the last couple of years. The courage of this child and her mother while facing this dreaded disease is just phenomenal. Little Taylor is having her 11th birthday nest month, the day after one of her chemo treatments, so she can't even have any friends in for a party to celebrate this milestone. Her mother has asked that as many people as possible to mail this child a birthday card, she asks for no money, or presents, or anything like that, just a simple birthday greeting. I know how giving the people here on the C can be so please in the spirit of the Wulfman send a card to a little girl and brighten a day for this kid. The address is as follows: Miss Taylor Hulsey
107 Cliff Payton Circle
Newnan, Ga 30263. Thanks for your time.

For giving us the opportunity to bring some cheer and happiness to Taylor.

Count me in!

I'm mailing out a cute 'thinking of you card' and will try to send one a week to her. All children love to receive cards and I know she will not be an exception. I will keep Taylor and her family in my thoughts and prayers.

NOTE TO BONKERS: Keep your observations on thoughts and prayers to yourself. We really don't want to read them. You have already posted them ad nauseum.

Could you please give us the date of her birthday so the card can be sent at the right time. Thank you.

Having spent my share of time at Scottish Rite and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta I can relate and you can bet we will pray.

But if God should need a really good babysitter for some of those CHOA babies in heaven (like my son), just know that nothing but love and happiness awaits those children who are called early. Even though from time to time God needs a little help, and appreciates a young angel, we will pray that he wait on Taylor.

Meanwhile, get well Taylor, and God bless!
