Oh Boy! Tea Party Leaders Already Hooking Up With Dark Side

Spear Road Guy's picture

Someone told my wife at the Publix that Cindy Fallon is tied to the infamous Mayor Harold Logsdon. She called some of her Republican Women friends and found out the Fallons are cutting big checks to Logsdon's insurance commissioner campaign.

Next, one of the husbands said Fallon's husband is a big-wig in the insurance industry.

Well, so much for Tea Parties on behalf of the people!!! You've got to wonder about Fallon using the poor tea party people to storm the offices of the local congressmen to keep her husband's business interests alive.

To think anyone associated with the tea parties would align with Logsdon is hypocracy. The mayor has done nothing but raise taxes and screw the place up.

As in you scratchy my back and I'll scratchy yours...imagine that, in the Tea Party Group and Politics, will wonders never cease.

It's the name of the game around here. Very few want to run for any position or start a group, etc. unless they are going to get something out of it. Look very closely at any group you join because you never know what that hidden agenda could be...

This just tells me that those of us who are members of the tea party movement should work harder. We need to weed out and expose people who are there for their own selfish reasons. Please don't judge all of us by a few dishonest people. I hope we can acomplish what we have set out to do,and that is WAKE-UP AND SHAKE-UP OUR LEADERS SO THEY WILL LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE, OR GET OUT!!!

Well then there wouldn't be many left in the TEA unorganization after the "purging!"

There is a Fallon who donated $2,000 to Harold Logsdon. How do we know this is Cindy Fallon's husband? I don't know, just asking?

I wouldn't give a plug-nickel to Logsdon. Really, I can't figure out why anyone would after his very bumpy four-years.

Not to worry SRG, don't think Logsden will make it past Hudgens in the Repub primary. Plus I think there's another strong Repub candidate in S. Ga but can't recall his name, former Marine and Legislator also.

"Someone told my wife at the Publix "
"Next, one of the husbands said Fallon's husband"

I heard from some guy that heard it from his wife that was told by her boyfriend that...

Are you kidding me?

"When the person who in possession of a government, shall say to a nation, I hold this power in 'contempt' of you, it signifies not on what authority he pretends to say it is..but an aggravation to a person in slavery"..Thomas Paine

It is true false accusations can be made as to who gives what to whom. So, as a bit of self protection you can get PTC disclosures by requesting them from info@peachtree-city.org and you can look up any state level, including history, here.

Search the last name minimum, then click any of the three links under Campaign Disclosure Reports.

OK, this was stated jokingly(maybe?) by ex-Gov. Jesse Ventura who is on the fringe of reality at times, but it's pretty humorous and has some element of truth: make politicians dress like NASCAR drivers with all of their "contributors" labeled on their clothing so we can see who has bought and paid for the candidate and who'll be taken care of first when that politician gets elected.

Being a grassroots guy I may not get any contributions at the $101 or higher level that requires by name reporting. Does not bother me.

I have no problem saying at this point in time I have received $115 total from three total people. Wish that was all I had to spend!

So, my clothing will be patch poor.

It is interesting, though, to look at a few different State level people and see who gave how much. Educational in some cases for several.

Hey Don, $115 with the election in 3 months doesn't sound good. What's the deal?

One of my builder friends says Cyndi is their girl. They don't mind throwing cash at a candidate. How are you going to compete against a money machine?

I won against their hand picked incumbent in 2007 with a 32% margin over him in a 3 way race while only spending $313.50, including the $180 filing fee, with zero contributions. No signs, handouts from my computer at home, Letters to the Editor and talking honestly to any and all who had questions.

Big bucks come from special interests but they do not represent the extremely larger number of voters out there. The average citizen who votes does not contribute much if any to candidates.

Let the voting records speak for themselves. In example, Plunkett supported lifting the Mutli-Family Moratorium, abandoning Line Creek to enable McMurrain to build Big Boxes, voted to give the SUP to actually built Big Boxes in an extra large development and then voted to put a traffic light on 54 to give better access to it. I voted against every one of those.

And don't forget, they added the SUP in 2006 that enabled building Big Boxes.

I will get my message out and let her try to explain her voting record as opposed to mine. Also have signs and buttons this time. Then the voters will decide.

The old idea that money always wins is false. I already proved that in 2007 and a developer I know has already written her off as losing.

Cyndi may be his girl, but how is that going to help? Cyndi the mayor can only do so much and none of it is going to help a builder. Especially if all the "reformers" replace her, Haddix and Boone on city council. Dyer is the only pro-builder candidate and he has no chance.

It is starting to look like Cyndi can win this thing. You go girl! But don't help the builders.

Youall ever thought about working to elect an unknown?

Some old dude or dudess who only wants to serve, donates the salary to Salvation Army, and votes independent!

No, not me---too tired of the BS involved, but there are those who will do it.

Evem Nixon's bunch realized that they couildn't influence one U.S Senator in anything they wanted.
His name was to them Aintnoway! From Hawaii.

Need someone like that! One who doesn't give a rat for developers, bankers, lawyers, Delta, or founding fathers. Just voters and their taxes!

I don't think they make those anymore at least not too many. It seems only Varmints run for office anymore. If not when elected soon after, seems how it works. They have to sell their souls to the devils out there to stay in their cushy positions. Very Sad indeed.

On Nixon, didn't he say Reagan was a dumb SOB, seems I read that somewhere this week. Of course Nixon was on a Power trip and full of tricks as I remember...too young to vote then but sure would not have voted for him anyway...to slick..

Having Harold Logsdon for mayor has sure seemed to help builders in the past several years---and Cyndi was voting right along with him.

The last thing we need to do is give Haddix false information to run around and bash Plunkett with.

All you have to do is check the disclosure documents to see where both candidates gat their funding from.

Well, it is true that James Fallon contributed 2K on Jun 30 to Logsden's 2010 Primary campaign--but so what? He also contributed the same amt to Ronnie Chance in his last campaign.

SRG just needs to switch to Kroger--or try the new Food Lion!
