What's up with the creepy black dude holding a mannequin while wearing a sandwich board with a scrawled apocalyptic message on the corner of 74 and 54?

It's "big city weird".

Anybody know what this is about?

Maybe he scrawled it on the sign?

He is a buddy of the golfing dude who carries "John 3-16" signs all of the time.

Would you have felt better about it if he had spoken clear English?

I was just loging in to ask the same question. My friend just reported to me that he jumped in front of her car and started speaking some crazy jiberish.
