Thank God Congress has passed a law letting me carry my concealed deadly weapon when I am in a National Park.

I am sure everyone knows how frightening it is to be among a bunch of tourists led by a Park Ranger on a nature walk in Yellowstone or any other National Park. Really scary!!!.

But I am armed and ready to shoot myself out of such dangerous situations.

God Bless the NRA.

These names should be fresh in your mind. Two Georgia women who were abducted/murdered in park & recreation areas in Georgia. In both areas where the crimes occurred (Silver Comet Trail and Vogel State Park) conceal carry was not at the time permitted. Maybe if it had been they would still be alive. If it can happen at Silver Comet or Vogel it can surely happen at any National Park.

Lion, as you don’t appear to have actually been in the ‘wilderness’ let me give you a little clue what’s out there.

Appalachian Trail: Saving Brian

“The drive from Jasper to Blue Ridge went well, but eventually my itinerary would wobble, morphing into a rescue mission. Lunch was fast-food in Blue Ridge. Behind me in line was a talk-master from Blairsville. I mentioned Springer Mountain and he imparted a story about his cousin’s disappearance “up there on the trail.” Apparently they found his bear-mauled remains in a ravine.”

Just Google “Yellowstone, mauled” and enjoy the reading.

There are things out there big enough to eat you!

It has been my great pleasure to have had the opportunity to spend several weeks a year hiking, canoeing and hunting in some of the most beautiful wilderness country the United States has to offer.

When you’ve had the pleasure of a 700 lb. feral hog walk into your camp at night or hiking at night and being surrounded by a pack of coyotes then you can talk to me about not carrying a gun in National Parks.

Until then, I’ll continue to carry my gun regardless of what the law says at any given time.

Guess what will happen to you if you have the misfortune of walking up on mom hog with her litter 20 miles from the nearest phone?

I consider the odds of being attacked by a bear at the Fayette Pavilion as being pretty low but I still carry a gun whenever I go there. (Hunting two legged prey is always more of a challenge and fun)

"Even loins should carry guns in the wilderness."

For protecting the family jewels? Lol

I would like a link to all the crimes committed by properly licensed "concealed deadly weapon" carriers. It must a huge number, from the fear in your comments. Waiting, but not expecting much.

Would you rather we tote it out in the open?

You are a tard!
