How long will the grass get?

Before we see signs of the right of ways, etc being cut/maintained?

Seems to me PTC has really dropped the ball. When my visitors start to bring it up.

Maybe volunteers can get the work done. I'm looking at my subdivision entrance and thinking Saturday might be a good day. How far down the Parkway can I cut without Barney giving me trouble?

how tall will the grass get, but no matter. It may just be that the grass is being let to grow until it goes to seed, thereby reseeding itself at no cost to the taxpayers. Sometimes it takes a country unit to see the wisdom in doing nothing, but usually it is upper management that can see this clearly and implement it most effectively.

It's not easy being the carbonunit

The neighbor down on the corner of our subdivision cut the grass along the front, did a real good job, looked real nice. Last summer the City paid him a visit and told him he had to stop, said it was because of liabilities. Now this guy had cut this grass for years and out of the blue they come and tell him to stop. At least we didn't have to wait on the city to cut it so you could see up the road. Go figure.

Who did not see this coming?? Did anyone really think the city looked nice because they pushed a "That was easy" button at city hall?

I thought you were one of the cheerleaders of these job cuts, as long as they didn't cut out the fireworks for a year or 2?

Who will dig through the tall grass to pick up the trash left behind after the fireworks?

I was not in favor of these cuts at all. I'm on record on these very boards advocating a tax increase to make ends meet.

Regardless, I have yet to see a hired Truegreen employee this year doing anything in PTC>

I'm sure the mayor has a plan.

Do you think they would write you a citation for helping maintain the city? Maybe they could generate some revenue by charging you with distruction of public property or vandalism?
