Fred Garvin and Freddy Kreuger

Ok, so i've been reading around the site for a while and i can't believe it just now occurred to me: Fred Garvin is the political equivalent to freddy kreuger! note the similarities:
1. both named fred
2. will go away if you quit paying attention (remember how freddy's power was taken away in the first movie because he needed the dreamer to believe in him? so ideally, if people quit responding to fred he will eventually become a caricature of himself by becoming so inflammatory it will be sad!)
3. you cannot reason with fred or freddy. one way or the other, freddy kreuger is going to kill you if he's in your dream and one way or the other, fred is going to tell you what he thinks even if he knows he's wrong.
4. both try to ruin your dreams. freddy ruins the literal and fred tells you that america died the day obama was sworn in. well,his america died, you know, the fear-mongering/preemptive nation of empty rhetoric that disregarded the constitution?
5. both have those crazy razor gloves.

so all i'm saying is that by arguing with fred garvin, we are feeding the flame. instead of validating him via argument, why don't we just feel pity for his "my way or the highway" view of the world. some of his blogs are so intensely unreasonable that there isn't a legitimate response possible. someone who thinks the color brown smells like the number 14 cannot be reasoned with and in the same way, someone with such a regurgitated argument cycle is not listening to you, they are only hearing the sound of their own voice and honestly, does anyone think that garvin will ever admit if he's wrong? he won't, because in his mind, that is impossible. so i'm calling a boycott on fred garvin. that's not to say his supporters won't respond, but i would say that we, his opposition, just ignore him. wouldn't that just make everything easier?
