Little white plastic flags

Does anyone know why there are little white flags in the yards of several places around Macintosh High School?

Usually means a "proposed" excavation.

However this being McIntosh, it may mean liberal surrender codes by students.

They've applied heavy doses of insecticide and the bugs are surrendering...

Being easily entertained is such a wonderful gift, isn't it? I know I appreciate mine.

HILARIOUS !!!!

Carbon, it IS wonderful to be entertained so easily. I've always said that she who can laugh at herself will never cease to be entertained. I laugh often!!!

The white flag comment is probably the funniest I've heard in a while.

Diva, are you in country now? I know you travel a lot, you vagabond you!

Boonda:

O.K., so I first checked my handy dictionary. No boonda - only boon (adj) merry, jolly, convivial, etc... or (noun) a blessing, something granted to benefit or please, comes from the Latin word bonus.

So, then I checked the internet. Googled boonda and got a wedsite for pongal - harvest festival of S. India. Here I found a recipe for boonda. Recipe calls for peppers, cilantro, onion,etc...

There was also a site that came up on 'Son of Solomon High Priest of Boonda in Africa.

Oh, and don't even bother with Jeeves...apparently he retired! And Wikipedia doesn't know squat!

Am I getting warm? Is boonda a recipe, a festival, .....?

Please, mister, I gots to know! (that would be my Dirty Harry reference) Smiling

P.S. Have fun at carnaval! Come back with lots of stories so that this boring mother of two can live vicariously through your escapades. Smiling
