"Slumdog Millionaire" movie

I was wondering if anyone had seen this movie yet and if so, is it really too violent to take kids to see? I heard that some of the scenes were really disturbing, like when one kid gets blinded by acid.

Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

It has some violence, soe disturbing images and language.

The story of Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who is about to experience the biggest day of his life. With the whole nation watching, he is just one question away from winning a staggering 20 million rupees on India's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" But when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating; how could a street kid know so much?

It is a Great 5 star movie - but only you can judge if it's for your kids viewing.

Haven't seen Slumdog Millionaire, but I did go see Gran Terino. It was a fantastic movie. If you can move through all the racial slurs the message is touching. Great flick. I was expecting something totally different when I walked in and left moved by this movie. Clint Eastwood does it again.
