Actually Joe gave up

Yardman5508:

You forgot one important part of the story.
When Joe returned home his house had been burned to the ground because some "girly-man liberal " had blocked him from clearing the dead brush around his house because one spotted owl had set up a home within 1.2 miles of his property.
After learning his house had been burned to the ground, Joe decided to start a small business to support his family. After 18 months and $200,000 in attorney fees Joe gave up on his dream because the "girly-man liberal" discovered that Joe wanted to build a tree farm in an area where the "rare" 3 eyed earthworm had been sighted the year before. The "girly-man liberal" had argued that if this rare worm were wiped out, our entire eco structure could be threatened. The "girly-man liberal" somehow overlooked that Joe and his family were themselves becoming indangered and did nothing to pertect his right to survival.
So Joe and his family life in a shelter now. They lost their house, their hope and the business they could have started that would have employed 15 people.
People walk by Joe's burned out home now. Most of them don't know the story of Joe...they come there because it is now a " 3 eyed worm" sanctuary.
