FCBOE employees voting for Nicole File

My wife teachers at a local elementary school. She voted for Nicole File (write in candidate) last Friday.

Many of the teachers at her school don't have a lot of confidence in the school board. Promises have been made and broken too many times.

Teacher voting for Nicole File

We have a great many honorable and intelligent people working in our school system, and we shouldn’t be surprised to hear they’re choosing Nicole File over Janet Smola, and also voting against increasing the Fayette sales tax to 7%.

The school superintendent himself may not feel free to talk about it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he voted against Smola. The poor man is forced to work with what we send him, and it would be interesting to know what he thinks of his board, especially Smola.

I've thought the same thing. This has been a costly experience for all. We need to put a lot more thought in who we put on the BOE. They become DeCotis boss, and no matter how good he is, they call the shots. Scary isn't it.

I don't blame the teachers for voting against Smola. They work with the kids every day and know the truth. I'm sure they will fill relieved to get the tyrant off their back.
