PCFD Concern

In a recent meeting with department personnel the Chief of the Department stated, and I quote, "If you don't like the way the department is run, there is the door!" An interesting comment from someone who is supposed to be a leader, a motivator, a person who by the nature of thier job should be fostering a positive atmosphere to boost morale. What do you expect from a man who's firefighting experience prior to working at Peachtree City was as a VOLUNTEER WILDLAND firefighter. Chief Ed we don't need to find the door but maybe you should!

This is maybe the 3rd or 4th blog complaining about morale at the PTC Fire Dept.

I realize Stony Lohr left some mighty big shoes to fill, but this new chief doesn't appear to be too popular with the rank and file.
