google new school locations... then vote Nicole File

in this age of computers,there are just too many ways to check things out.

Some on the BOE would tell you of the strategic location of the new school Rivers elementary.

Go to google, go to maps...put in Tillman rd., Fayetteville, ga.

Up will come Sandy creek and Tillman rd crosspoint. This is where the new school will be. Click on satellite map view.

This will show you empty field after empty field. Now move your view down to Peachtree city, Tyrone, or Fayetteville. You will be struck at how far away they are and how densly populated they are. Now imagine small children going the 9 miles each way to this school on a buss.

What a waste of taxpayer money and our children's time.

If I get a chance tonight, I'm going to try to post an over lay of this land with public records of the tracts of land around this site and all the LLC s and who are these people who are the developers who own this land.

Our tax money has not been used fully for us and our children. Just the ghost children on developers tracts of land.

I encourage everyone to look on google for themselves. This is your tax dollars being burned.

You still labor under the old, outdated assumption that the Fayette Board of Education is working in the best interests of CHILDREN!

They aren't working in the best interest of children, they're maximizing the investment of certain developer interests by pre-building an infrastructure for them!

Think of it as "local earmarks"....or perhaps "Schools To Nowhere".

But Heaven forbid, if you're against the SPLOST, then you are an unfit parent who hates their children! Right, Neal Sullivan?

it is cause Smola and Smith's kids are so much older, they have forgotten how much better small local elementary schools are far the wee ones. I think Marion and Dr Todd would agree with me... we didn't need this white elephant at the expense of Tyrone Elm and Brooks Elm.

SMOLAS INTEREST IS N HERS TEACHING IN THE SYSTEM....SHE IS JUST TOO OLD AND DOESN'T RELATE TO KIDS NEEDS ANYMORE, IF SHE EVER DID.

it is a no contest for SPLOST as the money, in my eyes, may be squandered by the same people who PURCHASED these outragous school sites!
