Who do you believe? I have a friend who I known for years, never lies, and attended all the redistricting meetings.

The rummor has been flying for some time that:

Tyrone Elemenatry and Brooks will be closed, or repurposed. What is fanning the rummors?

1.The empty class rooms at Tyrone Elemenatry, which is a stone's throw from Birch, and could have been used to help get rid of the trailors at Birch.

2. The fact that the kids have to come from somewhere to fill the elementary schools in the cow pastures.

3.The Principle, or asst Principle, is being shuttled back n forth to play principle at Tyrone Elm and Brooks.

Smola's response to an email was that closing Tyrone or Brooks is a lie her opponent is spreading.

TRUTH...MY FRIEND!

MY FRIEND WHO HAS BEEN AT ALL THE REDISTRICING MEETINGS SAID, 'WHEN THE SUBJECT OF CLOSING THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS CAME UP...SMOLA SAID SOMETHING TO THE EFFECT...DON'T FORGET ABOUT TYRONE AND BROOKS WHO ARE ALSO GETTTING OLD.

I KNOW MY FRIEND HAS NO REASON TO LIE, AND NEVER HAS!

It seems to me SUGARFOOT that you are the person most responsible for most of the rumors printed in this paper. My friend told me that so it must be true

I was an alternate at the redistricting meetings and I heard that Tyrone Elementary was being considered for closing because of it's size and age at the next go around.
This would be a logical option for the school system. I have heard Janet Smola mention at a board meeting that Tyrone Elementary could be closed because it was old.
I think she is deperate to pin this rumor on Nicole, to try to discredit her. Interestingly enough, I have found everything Nicole has said to be the TRUTH. Most things Janet says are half-truths or out right lies. Janet gets caught telling lies all the time. She does have a proven track record of not telling the whole truth.
A perfect example might be the sign stealing incident.I think inquiring minds will know the truth about that soon enough.
It amazes me she won't answer questions people have about bond money but rumors hey she can deny those quickly. So Janet, tell us about the bond money.

and Janet, I am not grover.

I would like an answer about why land was owned next to the elm and middle schools, some kept for a pool, and the rest sold to a developer who built a subdivision on it? If this is un true, just tell us.

I would like to know why more land was bought down the road for another high school?

What happened here?

I didn't start this. It has been going around for a long time. Within one day, 2 people who didn't know each other told me the same rummor. This, as I understand, has been out there for at least a month...for the above reasons.

I do know for a fact my friend heard Smola say something to the effect of what I stated above. That is not a rummor.

to blame others if you loose. none of us had anything to do with where you built the schools. As was quoted here by Brown, the person hired to help with the redistricting said you were going to run into trouble with those locations. You have. If 2 years from now, you go...lets' close these 2 schools, people will remember these conversations.
