Enough Already!

Simply stated, in the past two weeks many like myself have lost upwards of twenty percent of their portfolios during this "economic crises." Democrats are blaming Republicans and Republicans are blaming Democrats in hopes that their respective citizenry is both stupid and naive enough to believe them.

These are the same folks who offered $85B of our money to AIG so that they could spend nearly $500K on booze, spas, and whaever out in California and then ask for more the next week. Do these morons realize it was their ancestors who made tea in Boston Harbor?

Folks there is no bottom to this until our elected officials take responsibility for their actions. Many of these clowns are elitists and simply don't know what it is to actually produce something other than a piece of paper, and surely have no idea what it is like to be responsible to insure a payroll is met.

One candidate promises to lower taxes for 95% of taxpayers, that's great, but does he realize there are those of us listening that know less than two-thirds in this country actually pay income taxes? The other candidate claiming to be able to get things done in Congress, when in actuality, nothing of consequence has come from that august body in some time now.

I consider myself to be an average citizen who feels betrayed by those who I and others have entrusted with the governance of this land, and as such, I ask that we vote these bastards out of office. Our ancestors would have shot or hung them all and begun anew.

Both sides of our political spectrum have us exactly where they want us, bickering with each other about this or that when the real issue is these clowns retaining their seats of power. Meanwhile, nothing of consequence is accomplished and we become more mired in debt and accept the same for our posterity.

Mike, I agree with you. Throw these enabling bums out.

Saxby Chambliss voted for this bailout mess.

Will you vote against him in four weeks?

You can count me in on that vote. He is a disgrace.

He voted to use public money when both of us know better, therefore I'm voting to throw the bum out.

I think you and I would agree to give these guys one if not two terms to show that they are in it to serve. In cases as extreme as the bailout, I do not see how we can afford to let a moron continue to act to our detriment.

There is ample fault on both sides to the dismay of all intelligent enough to understand. It's time to stop debating politics, and time to debate what is the right thing to do.

I don't know about the state election for Chambliss, but what I do know is that he will win Fayette county by about 2-1!

I'm telling you, Dennis Kucinich would win here if he was labeled a republican!

I go through all this effort to lay a bear trap on your front door and you don't take the bait!

I had planned on you giving a ringing defense of Saxby, so I could point out that most people at a high level want to "throw the bums out" but when push comes to shove and we start talking about individuals, there's much more of a sense of "well, so-and-so, he's different".

How am I gonna stereotype you when you won't play ball? Sticking out tongue

I'd much rather give a ringing defense of someone like Brian Nichols, but since I am not in the legal profession, I'll leave that to those more qualified. Speaking of qualifications, having read your threads for awhile I would offer that normally your "bear traps" are more discreet.

Just in case I'll keep my skinning knife handy.
