SPLOST vs Wall Street

I was telling some of my conservative frends there is NO difference between the School Board SPLOST and Wall Street.

Tax increases are tax increases, so make no distinctions. Both will cost us.

I'm sick of having to save everyone's fanny with my hard-earned money. These people have never heard about living within their means.

I've got to agree with Janet Dunn about don't you dare tell me you're buying a bunch of swimming pools when my investments are crashing!

I was very disappointed yesterday when I went and did the early voting. On the SPLOST question there was a yes and a no but no H*LL NO!! I was really bummed out!!

The pro-SPLOST forces have organized. They have a new organization called Fayette Citizens for Children, a website at www.yesfayetteESPLOST.org, a mailing address to receive contributions, a timetable for "awareness" meetings, all under two co-chairmen, Neil Sullivan and Tracey Goodman. Brace yourself, they're coming at you!
