I've been reading about these people, Raines, Johnson and Gorelick, alot lately. They and many democrat-piggies have been receiving ALOT of $$$ while these two institutions have been in big trouble. Obama, one of the top "feeders", lied in the debate about "warning" the Administration of the impending problems. Hmmm, he's so worried that he "warns" them but not worried enough to stop "feeding at the trough". Too bad the drive-by media refuses to cover this!

People just make stuff up then rail that it’s not being covered by the main stream press.

“Obama, one of the top "feeders", lied in the debate about "warning" the Administration of the impending problems.”

Here is the transcript from a speech Obama gave in September 2007 speech at Wall Street:

Obama Calls For Greater Openness, Transparency On Wall Street

Here is a video of McCain two months in November 2007 later admitting he didn’t see any of it coming:

Didn't exactly sound like a warning to the Administration to me. Still doesn't matter about the big $$$, either, huh? Nothing to say about that?

“Nothing to say about that?”

What exactly are you referring to?

Are you talking about McCain's campaign manager Rick Davis who got $15,000 a month between 2006 and August 2008 Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae for his company Davis Manafort and who, when he joined McCain's campaign had them pay his $20,000-a-month salary directly to Davis Manafort. Which they did. Federal campaign records show the McCain campaign paid Davis Manafort $90,000 through July 2007?

Or are you referring to another company, 3eDC, created and owned by Davis whose address was the same office building as Davis Manafort's and which received payments from the McCain campaign of $971,860 through March 2008?

Or maybe McCain's top policy advisers, Charlie Black, was lobbyist for Freddie Mac for 10 years for untold millions?

Or William Maloni, the Fannie Mae Senior Vice President for Government and Industry Relations who said, “I worked in government relations for Fannie Mae for more than 20 years, leading the group for most of those years. When I see photographs of Sen. McCain's staff, it looks to me like the team of lobbyists who used to report to me. “

Or the McCain deputy campaign finance chairman, Wayne L. Berman, a vice president for Ogilvy Worldwide and a former Fannie Mae lobbyist?

Or the six members of the Republican lobbying firm Fierce Isakowitz & Blalock, all Fannie Mae lobbyists, who have raised tons of money for McCain?

Or Geoffrey T. Boisi, a member of Freddie Mac’s board, who contributed more than $70,000 to Mr. McCain and Republican Party committees working for his election. Both he and Richard F. Hohlt, a Fannie Mae lobbyist, are among the McCain “bundlers” who have raised $100,000 to $250,000 from others?

Or Phil Gramm, the lobbyist who bought McCain for the foreign banking group USB?

You've got to narrow it down for me.

The millions that Raines and Johnson took after the mess they made with Freddie and Fannie. Financial advisors to BO. Just more "associates" of the big BO! I hope you viewed the video--it tells us alot about how this financial situation got to be such a mess.

It's not washing. Johnson worked from Obama for two weeks vetting VP choices and was replaced because of his ties, Raines didn't work for him at all beyond a couple of phone calls to some staff people. McCain's lobbyist are still working for him and running his campaign.

I couldn't watch the video. It has been removed for copyright infringement.
