Business as Usual

On the way home this afternoon I thought that this would be a great time to have a pint. I pulled into the new Irish Bred Pub and observed the following message on their Guinness sign:

"Private Party City Officials Only."

Imagine my chagrin. A local club throwing a party for the officials of our fair city. Whoever could imagine, city officials slipping away from their duties for a quick draught. Maybe this is just business as usual, rather than the upset musings of a thirsty "Ole Sarge."

My husband and I recently visited the Irish Bred Pub, which replaced Three Dollar Cafe on highway 74. We were immediately impressed with the apparent renovations to facility and the friendly staff that welcomed us at the door. Our server was very personable and knowledgeable, and our food and drinks were excellent. We also took part in the Karaoke that was going on that evening. The entire night was a very enjoyable experience, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun night out.

I too was very impressed! The food and service was outstanding! It was so nice not to be bothered by cigarette(Hope i spelled right!) smoke. What an improvement from Three Dollar Cafe. If you have not been yet, I suggest everyone check it out!
