Ellijay Citizens Angry about their BOE Property Taxes

Everywhere you look citizens are fighting tax increases. “We’re planning to fail” was the cry at the BOE hearing in Gilmer County Sept. 11. These taxpayers are vocal and are trying to force their BOE to cut expenses 35%. The BOE wants a 17% increase. The citizens are down on all tax increase, including Splost, Tan’s & Bonds. In Gilmer County, SPLOST stands for S-ucker P-ayment LOST. I live in Fayette and also own property in Gilmer. It’s an all out tax revolution everywhere. If I know these mountain people and I do, they might find a BOE along the side of a road beaten and bloody. BOE stands for Born On Expenditures. Let’s all go to the new Boston Tea Party and throw Janet Smola in the Bay in November. FILE away spending and elect NICOLE File for BOE Post 1.

that keep whinning for more money should read more things like this. PEOPLE DONT HAVE ANY MONEY...AND IF THEY DID....THEY WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO PEOPLE THEY FEEL HAVE BAD TRACK RECORDS HANDLING IT.
