Check out the news article titled: Fish fingers: Your digits used to be fins”

P.S. Denise, I don’t work for or have any affiliation with a Cath-o-holic organization so take your best shot.

Check out this nutcase.

Tony Alamo (Is that his real name? Really??)

When his wife died he kept her body on display for six months and claimed she would be resurrected.

And he is charged with liking little kids a bit too much. It's OK, though, since "puberty is the age of consent."

What can we do with these televangelists? Can't shoot them, I guess.

If your name was LaZar, wouldn't you change it?

As to girls past puberty (barely) marrying, is legal many places if there is no objections by family, but a girl nowadays of that age has no common sense.

If Tony is involved with the trials and transactions, he should go to jail however.

People quit buying his Porter Waggoner and Liberace decorated jackets in California just before they put him in jail for paying no taxes on his earnings!

See what the IRS can force a man to do for a living?

We did marry-off many 14 year olds for hundreds of years---I'm sure you know that.
That of course was before we decided females had SOME rights, and weren't necessarily born for one purpose only---to cook and clean!

Now we will run Hockey Mom Alaskan Governors for Our two highest offices with no real experience---with of course, handlers.

Yeah, yeah.

But can these fish throw a good knuckleball?

(I had a link here to an ONION article on dolphins evolving opposable thumbs--a funny and promising idea if executed properly. But as I read down through it, it included multiple, egregious instances of very foul language. They did nothing whatsoever to contribute to the humor of the piece. It might have been penned by an adolescent. And so I've deleted it. My apologies to anyone who followed the link before I did so.)

The intelligent (hu)man understands the two can coexist. The Bible was written between two and three thousand years ago(or more) in a way the people of the times could/did understand. "The devil is in the details" (refering to the Bible here). The Christian message gets lost in the "details" and Satan uses this to confuse us.
The rocks don't lie.
Do you really suppose the inhabitants of the known world in those ancient times would have understood genetics, or would they have burned the purveyor of that message at the stake?
Divine spark.
Can't we all just get along, or are we too stupid?

"Your, yore, you're all idiots." (T.Floyd)

Are you saying that science is satan?

Nice how you try to group all Christians into one category (bible thumpers). The fact is, you don't have to be a Bible thumper, a rocket scientist, or anything else to realize that this earth has a creator and didn't just happen by chance. Go ahead, put your faith in man. I will chose to put my faith in God.

Ummm...there is no "proof" offered here. Darwin can strike a million times...it doesn't change the truth of divine creation. Why are you so set on changing the minds of Christians (or Bible thumpers, if you prefer)? Are we a threat to "Darwin" followers ? Do we taunt you with our beliefs ? One day we are going to die...if I'm wrong in my beliefs, then I've lost nothing....if you're wrong in your beliefs, then you've lost everything.

a belief takes faith and how and where you place your faith is your personal choice and business.

In biology, evolution is the process of change in the inherited traits of a population of organisms from one generation to the next. The genes that are passed on to an organism's offspring produce the inherited traits that are the basis of evolution. Mutations in genes can produce new or altered traits in individuals, resulting in the appearance of heritable differences between organisms. Evolution occurs when these heritable differences become more common or rare in a population.

Evolution theory was about long before Darwin. It is both a science and a FACT. Fact is often used by scientists to refer to experimental data or objective verifiable observations. "Fact" is also used in a wider sense to mean any hypothesis for which there is overwhelming evidence.

I prefer my kids and now my grand kids learn scientific fact and not be given a course that is based on someone else's faith.

Prove "divine creation" because as much as you'd like to believe that is fact, there is little science to support it.

How about quoting your sources next time, anyone can plagiarize as you did, it doesn’t take much effort.

Kinda like life insurance, huh?

Go to church some, pretend you know the answers, and by all means--tell everyone else they are lost!

If you knew that for a fact, you would have a visible halo!

Like any other personal beliefs, you should keep your religious opinions to yourself.

Otherwise, pay taxes on it.

People that posted on here were 'persecuted' by the religious right.

Those people should be "prosecuted" for their efforts.

Even Darwin knew how flawed his guess was. Ever hear of Piltdown Man? You may want to check out this link. It's pretty interesting:
