Simmons and the truth

Dave Simmons has been under brutal attack and scrutiny since Jan. when he started campaigning for his candidacy as the next Fayette County Sheriff. Only until this week, Cal decided that he needed to stop such negative, slanderous comments when the other 3 were being attacked so viciously. Thanks Cal, but this really should have been done months earlier.

For your peace of mind, let me make a suggestion here. There is still time to do some investigating on your own.

Here is what to do. Go to www.simmonsforsheriff.org and go to the link for Photo/Awards. Click on those pictures and awards. David Stapleton of the SAC division of the Detroit Fields Office presented one award. Contact the division and ask your questions.

For those who don’t want to take the time, here is something easier. Contact John Mumford of The Citizen at 770-719-1880. Mr. Mumford has all 4 Sheriff Candidates’ personnel files. Although Dave’s file is 500 pages Mumford was sent a 5 page synopsis. Dave is squeaky clean and his facts have been verified.

There are two commenter’s that grasp so desperately and continue to suggest that Dave Simmons has a checkered past. What is their true motive? I bank that you can figure it out by their meaningless comments and unfounded facts. They are desperate and really continue with nothingness.

Be or become an intelligent voter with your own research. You will be pleasantly surprised.
