I was there from 8:30ish-9:15.....sat in the stools by the windows and door...no one there except 2 women who were sitting in the chairs in front, I think they were part of a knitting club...they were joined by another woman after about 20 mins. 3 guys sitting outside at a table; a couple also outside and several folks in and out. If there was anyone else...I must've missed 'em. Next time I guess.

At the "coffee?"

I was, as I wrote earlier, on the stool (last one on left as you face the doors)...next to the "fixin's station. If you were one of the guys that was there when I arrived, and was joined by the third while I was there, or was that third, then I apologize for not approaching you. It appeared as if they knew each other already and weren't looking for any unfamiliar faces etc. I had to leave by 10 at the latest anyway, so.... no harm, no foul folks. As I said earlier, next time. It ain't no big deal....

I am curious: were you there at the "coffee"? Judging from your post to gratefuldoc, you were. Plus, my "carbonsense" detected additional interests in the vicinity.

I wouldn't get within three miles of such a group. People of mystery or non-existence who wear red dresses and "beautiful; regular attendees of foul bars; supposed ranking military people with nothing else to do; mysterious 30ish dudes whom big fat and ugly women adore; and on and on!
Seems as if the legitimate bloggers of recent history have deserted this site for these very reasons!

...sitting here looking out at the Continental Divide, snow-capped peaks and a good cup of coffee... nothing better. I climbed Longs Peak one year (14,000') when I was 20-something. This is the one place I can take my kids, where they think their mom is 'way cool.'

I didn't get there until 12:30 so I didn't make it, I did drink some coffee though. I even wore the same shirt as my profile pic so they would know it was me!!! I'm devastated over missing the coffee. I'm devastated over the memorial service for Devan today. I've had a not so hot day today. I wish I had made it because I sure could have used that company, conversation, and distraction.
