Senoia restaurants

Has anyone tried the Redneck Gourmet or Maguire’s in Senoia? I’m curious to read some feedback before trying it myself.

This restaurant have its great food and fine dining. A lot of customers enjoy their food and place. More food could choose with different kinds of food.

They need more Irish food on the menu. How about cornbeef and cabbage for a start. Smaller portions and cheaper prices would be nice as well. New management just does not work for me. I hear the bar is keeping them alive. Go Dawn...

Aha! Now the puzzle has been solved! Sage buys his $25 dollar bottle of booze, has his 25 drinks and sits down to blog. With 25 drinks under your belt even his/her ravings could make sense-or could they?? Nah!!

Have been impressed with both. Dropped in one afternoon with a few friends. Even though it was after the lunch hour there was a pretty steady crowd. It looked like an ice cream parlor and they did have quite a few varieties of ice cream items. Sandwich menu great, also quiches, etc, as well as great pastries and very nice friendly people. Definitely not the place you would go for a nice sit down dinner but great for lunch or a quick bite.

Went to Maguire's for a surprise birthday party for a friend. We were in a small room with pocket doors that could be closed off from rest of area. The only problem was that you got a lot of noise from the rest of the area, but that is to be expected. Varied menu, both food and drinks. Service good and friendly and food came out hot, even though there were about thirty in our party and the rest of the place was full. This was my only experience and a good one. Have many friends who go there often and like it.

Does the Senoia Redneck Gourment have mini-confederate flags on the tables?

My spouse went into the one in Newnan and turned around and walked out after he saw all the Confederate flags displayed - and he's a Georgia native. He just said that it made him feel uncomfortable, sitting in a sea of Conf. flags.

Wouldn't this also make the African-American population feel uncomfortable eating in an establishment surrounded by Conf. flags? Just wondering...

I think they had mugs and such for sale but I saw no confederate flags either as display or for sale.

Redneck Gourmet is more of a fast food type place. You order at the counter, wait for your food and go sit anywhere you want. The food was okay, but I prefer Maguires.

I have yet to try Redneck Gourmet. I hear it is pretty good though. I have been to Maguires many times and the food is great. Probably the best restaurant to hit Fayette or Coweta county in years. Not the cheapest place to eat, but I guess you get what you pay for. Staff is really good, especially the bar staff. I try to go in when Dawn is working behind the bar. In all my travels across the country she is one of the best bartenders/servers around. I have met the owners and they are some of the nicest people. You can't go wrong with Maguires. As Mike King would say - "Just my two cents worth."

Haven't been to that bar!
What can a bartender do except make your drink correctly?
Is "Dawn" the whole staff, or are there others?
Why not buy a bottle and get 30 drinks for $25 at home?

Are you kidding? You obviously don't get out much. Three things will determine the success or failure of any restaurant. Atmosphere, quality of food and most important quality of service. My only point was that this gal, Dawn, always has a great attitude and a smile on her face. She knows so many people by name and gets to know what they like to eat and drink. Impeccable memory. But you are more than welcome to go spend your 25 bucks and get plowed on your cheap whatever at home. I was only trying to make a comment about my experiences at Maguires.
