“Water-Starved California Slows Development”; what a concept

The state of GA, like PTC, has never seen a development it didn’t like and Georgia has been a drought for years.

”Water-Starved California Slows Development”

“Water authorities and other government agencies scattered throughout the state, including here in sprawling Riverside County, east of Los Angeles, have begun denying, delaying or challenging authorization for dozens of housing tracts and other developments under a state law that requires a 20-year water supply as a condition for building.”

What does the state of Georgia do?

Sat., Oct. 20, 2007
Georgia officials warn that Lake Lanier, a 38,000-acre reservoir that supplies more than 3 million residents with water, is less than three months from depletion. Perdue asked the president to exempt Georgia from complying with federal regulations that dictate the amount of water released from Georgia's reservoirs to protect federally protected mussel species downstream.

I always thought the left-coast was weird.

What is the world coming too? State government officials using common sense....? Can Arnold coach our lame duck governor in the use of common sense?

So let me see if I understand the group think in California: if you don't have enough water for the people already there.....stop building... Gee what a concept.

Well, the mental health hospitals in Georgia got such a bad review by the inspectors again that next will be for the federals to take them over---soon. I'm sure that will be cheaper!
Is there anything else that our illustrious Governor and Assembly can screw up? Do the hospitals have enough water do you suppose? These are mentally ill people---some are dangerous. I thought we stopped treating them like mad foxes 200 years ago!

What is the purpose of politicians anymore? Just to make money and reward loyalty?

Gee I could fill my swimming pool; if I had one. However, I had to take my trailer to get it washed - $125 - and the guy used the same water that I would have used.
