Any one who has run into Evander knows he is a good guy. The problem with being a good guy with money is everyone is always taking advantage of you. I wish he could sell his house to an internet mogul and still have something left over.

Here is an interesting perspective on the near foreclosure.

How do you determine a good guy by running into him?
Does he support all 11 of his kids by X women? Good guy?

Do you realize that most of us are probably wealthier than Evander at this point? And Ed McMahon too. Wuz up with these folks that they can burn through that kind of cash and wind up destitute? Puzzled

Wow... maybe one day we can all be successful like Evander & Ed.

Let this be a lesson to each of us. Secure the base......

Maybe if he had kept his rocket in his pocket he wouldn't be on the docket!

I use to work with a sister of his 1st wife. She said after the divorce, Evander always sent flowers to his Mother in law, on Mother's day. When I met him, he was at the airport visiting the ex sister inlaw. He use to come out to Delta and hang out with her, and before 9/11 and all that, you would see him on the front counter just hanging. He was a very nice guy and I wish him well. In my eyes he has paid a lot of taxes in Fayette and helped a lot of people. I wish him the best.

I'm sure Delta management is excited to hear how "Mr. Nice" used to hang out at the ticket counter with you and some ex...whatever she was. Here's an idea, why don't you invite him and his entourage to move into your home in Tyrone. Wait a second...better idea! Why don't you leave Tyrone, buy his house in Fayetteville, and move in with him. I'd be willing to bet you might get flowers on mother's day, maybe valentines too! Smiling For the record, child support and mortgages should be paid if owed. Georgia law frowns on deadbeat dads and unpaid house notes regardless of how nice someone may be. Unfortunately, Mr. Holyfield will make national headlines because of that.

but i know some people who have and they say he was real nice and a genuine guy. Its a shame though that someone can , by his own account, make over $90 million, and be broke. Just goes to show you why we should make personal finance a MAJOR part of our education of children.

I couldn't imagine having, much less spending $90 million.

WOW!

$38 million on a Gulfstream V / 550. That would leave me $52 million but it would be a good start toward spending the 90. I think I could get by without going broke though.

Not really. The remaining amount would be needed for fuel. Smiling
