Git Real and Rudjard Hayes

Git, really now.

You're supporting a carpetbagger who moved into Fayette for the sole purpose of running for DA? He just moved here last year.

As for Ballard being "soft" by taking pleas, remember: Fayettenam judges have the power to say NO to pleas they're not OK with, and they've used that discretion on occasion.

That plea-killing power hasn't been used very often, which tells me that there have been pretty good or at least plausible reasons for Ballard to cut a deal instead of prosecuting on these "questionable" pleas your boy Hayes is touting.

What's gonna look really bad is if somebody finds out that Hayes *knew* the extenuating circumstances yet still twisted the situation to his advantage for political gain.

FYI, the DA covers a four-country district and is not required to live in any of those counties until the day of the election. This is a non-issue. Let's move on. What is an issue is that in the last 3 to 3 1/2 years, 8 out of 11 staff members have left the office.

Crime Dog suggests that with the warehouse full of Ballard negotiated pleas that there must be "extenuating circumstances". Don't you think Ballard should share those "extenuating circumstances" ?

Why did the karate guy messing around with a 14 year get dismissed? Why did the Columbine Kid get nothing after bringing an arsenal to school? The Columbine Kid was represented by the dwarf lawyer with the pony tail that was buddies with Ballard. No justification for either of these people not being severely punished and being in the AJC as an example of how Fayette deals with these problems. It is not up to Hayes to explain-- it is up to Ballard. And he has taken a monk's vow of silence. Nothing.

Carpetbagger? Hmmm.....Explain why the first thing Ballard did when he was elected was to bypass everyone in 4 counties and hire as his Chief Assistant the Chief Assistant Attorney from Fulton County? BTW--- he didn't last long either.

It is appropriate that you used the photo of Fred McGriff. On the night of his first appearance in Atlanta there was a harmless fire in the stadium press box. Just like the press box, your defense of Ballard went up in smoke.

I'd bet the victim's wishes have a TON to do with the karate teacher case.

And I heard the Whitewater arsenal kid complained of bullying numerous times but wasn't taken seriously by school administration before the incident. How embarassing would that be to the school when it came out at trial?

So these cases of 'hardened criminals' aren't all you crack em up to be Voice/Git.

BTW that chief assistant has lived in Fayette a while UNLIKE candidate Rudjard Hayes.
