Huddleston Pond Progress....

The big equipment left over a month ago and this project has seemed to come to a halt. We're left looking at a huge mess. I thought this was to be an improvement? Down at the spillway looks fine but the rest of the pond looks like a literal dump. How long do we have to look at this? Another five years? Come on PTC..enough is enough.

The more angst that is experienced during the process, the greater the satisfaction will be when it is completed, although after a year or so a point of diminishing returns may be reached.

I'm sorry, but living by this once beautiful pond for over 25 yrs and looking at this mess for over 5 years...I think we have been more than patient.

I agree. Has there been any explanation as to why it's taking so long? Could it be there's some kind of endangered species that has burrowed into the bottom of the pond? Is the pond in a time warp and no matter how hard the construction crew works on the pond it always goes back to the way it was by the following morning? Is it aliens?

Just where is this pond? On Huddleston?
Is it a storm drain of foggy water, or is it a stream?

The pond is located on Windgate Road, in between Peachtree Pky and Robinson Road. http://pics2.city-data.com/picthumb/thumbv1181.jpg
Check out this link - this is what it used to be like
