USN MC3 Phil Stacey and your beautiful wife and two girls: Your voice was angelic and we were honored to share a stage with you! Thank you for your humility, and good luck with your new album. You made a man named Hutch very proud to be Navy thru and thru today!

USA SSG Gordon Cook: You are a man among men and we were all in your shadow today. Nothing compares to the sacrifices you have made for us all, and the smile on your daughter's face is as much pride as it is love. You are a true American hero.

Finally; last but never least: Thanks to you all, my blogging brothers and sisters, that give us all something worth fighting for. I thought of you all as I sat there in the stadium today, enjoying what it truly means to be an American! Not a democrat or republican; not a black man; not a southerner; but AN AMERICAN! I hope we all can keep those priorities straight as we honor the memories of the fallen, remember the struggles of the living, and respect the opinions of those of us who dare offer one, because the PEOPLE of theis country make this country what it is: The best Damn country on planet Earth!
