"My Car Runs on Vegetable Oil"

Leave it to the American entrepreneur to wean the U.S. from foreign oil, since past and present administrations have failed to do so.

I believe we'll be seeing more of these start-up companies as oil is predicted to reach $200/barrel.

It only costs $800-$1300 to convert your car to run on vegetable oil. The only drawback is that your car smells like french fries:

You forgot the most important part, your car must have a diesel engine.

I wasn't aware of that!

I was seriously considering purchasing one of the do-it-yerself kits and reconfiguring our gas guzzler truck... oh well.

You know, since you are so good with mechanics and engines, did you ever consider getting into this biz as a sideline?? It could be the wave of the future.

BMW has converted a regular piston engine to run on hydrogen. Maybe your truck can be made to gobble hydrogen and spit out only water.
