Capital Development Owns Mayor Logsdon and Boone

Logsdon sold the developer city property at a fire sale price so the developer could pound us.

Instead of one big box, we're looking at four large stores, two of which will require a special use permit (big boxes with 42,000 and 45,000 square feet.

Now Capital Development is going to make us come begging back on our knees for him to build the Kohl's store he wanted all along, thanks to Mayor Logsdon. Read Beth Pullias' letter.

I regret the day I ever heard the name Harold Logsdon. The city is going down the drain.

we have less than two years remaining on His Honor's term, unless he decides to be an incumbent. A down side is that I'm sure his campaign chest is quite heavy.

Should he run for reelection, and I for one can see him doing so, he does have the advantages of an incumbent. He still must overcome the arrogance of knowing what's best for Peachtree City residents despite what voters have been echoing for some time (take the Kohls isssue).

I only align myself as a former supporter.

Does anyone think Harold Logsdon would run again?

He seems to have a knack of doing the opposite of what the locals want.

...if all of his opponents are in favor of district voting for commission seats. Being totally against district voting is the big issue that Logsdon has going for him, though it hardly matters in reality what a Mayor of PTC thinks about it. .Still, it's a BIG BIG BIG issue for a lot of Fayette folks. Look at easily Matt Ramsey dispatched a field of pro-district opponents without even having a run-off.

If you are pro-district and the election has a significant amount of Fayette voters, you ain't winning.
