Attention bpr!

pentapenguin's picture

Hey bpr!

It was great meeting you and the Mr. today. We had a great time talking, and I'm not as scary as you thought. Laughing out loud

We have a good time at these meetings, and nobody has killed anybody else so far. LOL! Honestly, I was a bit nervous at the first one I showed up at since I didn't know what to expect, but as you saw, hutch is a great guy (along with Hack and Cyclist).

Here are the answers to some questions you had....

1) Firefox. Hutch and Hack will verify this -- Firefox is an excellent browser and much better than Internet Explorer if for no other reason than it has spell check. I think Mr. bpr said it was already on your computer, but if not, download and install it from here. You will like it or I will refund your money*!

* Refund will be the amount paid: zero dollars and zero cents. Sticking out tongue

2) Smilies. If you want to put the little faces in your posts like this Smiling click the More information about formatting options link at the bottom of the text box when you are posting a message.

3) Links and formatting. Read this here on how to use formatting in your posts: Tips for Fellow Bloggers

Please ask if you have any questions!

Look forward to seeing you again! Smiling Maybe bring your son too?

Thanks for all the information that you gave me and taking the time to give it to me. It will help out alot!

Yes I was nervous at first even with Mr. BPR, honestly I don't know if I would have come if he didn't have the day off. I think it's a little shy thing with me.

Now, I have a great friend in you, you are the kindest person. You made it easy- thank you for that- I felt okay in one min. after meeting you. They are all super nice guys. Wish Denise, skyspy, and hack, git real, cy, main steam and anyone else I am forgetting could have made it. Maybe next time.

Denise will have to come, she will see what I am saying is true.

Thanks for all- I have a new friend in you! That's GREAT!

Merry Christmas

I seriously thought about making it, but just got caught up in a project here (I have a writing deadline in 9 days and more like 90 days worth of as yet unwritten material before me) and couldn't get away.

Next time, perhaps?

Also, a beautiful young, all-white female cat seems to have adopted us (she was dumped on our cul de sac, I think), but is in need of a great home.

Any cat lovers out there in the market?

I wish that you and Mrs. Muddle could have made it, have you ever gone before. Well, I must say I am a little shy, took Mr.bpr with me, and they were all super nice guys - Denise needs to come. Hutch was right Emmy June got out alive and I did too. Ha.

You are a kind soul, everyone spoke highly of you- we all want to meet you. This was my first time, and since they kept their horns down and fire inside their mouth, Ha Ha - I would go again.

I adore cats and dogs, but I have 4 cats. I made the mistake of going into Petmart for cat food, poor big 23 pound kitty (Maine Coon) 12 years old needed a home and he said hey bpr- take me home. I know you will love the kitty untill you find it a home, I would love to take her but Mr.bpr said NO- 4 is enough. Honestly, he's like me a animal lover. We have fur everywhere in our house, on our clothes etc.

Hope you get to make it next time.

Don't forget- I am giving a gift of music to everyone- listen everyday- hope you enjoy- let me know if you like it.

Merry Christmas Muddle & Mrs. Muddle

Thanks. I gave it a listen and it is very nice.

Mrs. Muddle has always been the enthusiast in our home over such music. I tag along.

We've been listening to Bebo Norman's new Christmas CD as we have trimmed the tree, etc.

(I think Third Day was influenced by the Black Crows. You see, I would be more inclined to listen to the Crows themselves....)

I LOVE Bebo Norman, so does my husband but I don't have his Cd. Imagine that- now I will have to go and get it. Actually, I do some music research for my husband where he works and I heard Bebo and I put down some Christmas songs for them to add to their internet radio.

Third Day- Ha. They are very unique- I don't know if you know much about them, they struggled for about 10 years making music, then came the worship part- and God blest them. I know when the lead singer won Best Male Vocalist at the Dove Awards, he was so funny - he said this is just stupid. I think he knows about his voice.

I love them, they are very sincere about their belief. Thanks for the comment.

Be sure and listen tomorrow- each day even on Christmas Day. I am picking a few, I have tons of favorites.

Tell Mrs. Muddle when we meet we will have alot to talk about.

Don and Lori Chaffer have (or have had--I've lost track of them lately) a band called Waterdeep. I've always liked Don's stuff. He has avoided overproduction and has never really fit in with the Nashville Amy Grant, SCC bunch. (Hard to imagine Amy singing a song that begins with the line, "In a gas station bathroom by the condom machine...." )He's kind of a Neil Young with Christian convictions.

Here's a YouTube of Don and some friends singing informally (and having a couple of beers--something else I like about Don) while traveling on a tour bus. Sweet River, Roll

We went to see Don and Lori at the 40 Watt in AThens years ago. Several other musicians played that evening. Very, very late in the night, after most people had left, some guy with just a guitar got up and played. He was really good, but no one had ever heard of him. His name was Bebo Norman.

I hope his growing success doesn't ruin him. In particular, I hope the producers don't ruin him. He doesn't need an "image." He's just a talented singer/songwriter/musician who should be permitted to do his stuff as he sees fit.

I've appreciated some of the stuff Mrs. Muddle has played me from Casting Crowns. Whatever else is true, I think this fellow is the real thing--something of which I am not always convinced about people in that industry.

I love Water Deep, sad to say they did have a couple of hits a few years back. I haven't heard much from them lately. Now I understand why you would appreciate BeBo. They kinda have the same style.

Now, Bebo has had lots of hits, I love him, he's a down to earth guy, sense of humor and he is from Columbus, Ga. In his songs he sings alot about nature and relates them to God- I love nature, the beauty of it all. He is so good in interviews to speak about how he came to write a song- alot has been when he is at the beach etc. Out comes this God given song that brings me to tears. Sometimes we take for granted the beauty around us - I try not to because if I didn't believe in God I think just the creation that he made for us to enjoy would make me believe in Him.

Amy to me, sad deal- her ex-husband needs our prayers. I am highly dissapointed in her- this had a huge influence on her son when he was 13 when she left. She has not done too much since her divorce and marriage to Vince. Gary her ex wrote most of her songs along with Michael W. Smith. Gary's a great guy had some problems with drugs, got help and then years later when he is okay she dumps him for Vince.

I also love Casting Crowns, lead singer is a youth pastor at a church in Stockbridge. Tell Mrs. Muddle we sure do have alot to talk about.
Thanks for the video.

I think Bebo will be fine, he's really grounded in his beliefs- just got married a couple of years ago. He has a great voice.

Tell Mrs. Muddle hi for me.

Merrry Christmas

Thank you.

This promises to be the most meaningful Christmas I've ever spent, as each moment with my wife seems like a gift from God after nearly losing her recently.

I would very much like to join in if there is another meeting over coffee.

"Hope Changes Everything."

I haven't almost lost my spouse, but I sure miss my Mom and Sister, even when I write this I can kinda know what you feel like- actually tears help me.

My hope I will see them again. It doesn't mean that my being human wish they were here- I adored my Mom and sister.

Give Mrs. Muddle a huge hug for me! We look forward to meeting you.

Merry Christmas

My husband did, no this isn't my kitty Sad - think he will let me have this one? Sad Ha. I told him to find something that was cute - he did a good job, I didn't see it untill this morning. If we change it later that means I found or he found another cute kitty. Aren't you proud of me? Shocked - I can do this.

BTW- love the cat site.
