One thing I love about Christmas is that it can make it all perfect for one moment there, for one day, even for one week. I sense it's magic and I let go, I become a child again admiring Chirstmas trees. This is my story.

Pay It Forward is my favorite movie even though the ending is sad. I love any movies with animals as the main character.

I'm not sure about the coffee on Fri. I will try. 12 noon.

I don't know that movie which is a surprise, when you say you like the animal as the main character you mean it in a good way don't you?
I'm a animal lover, I have 4 cats, we would have dogs, my husband says 4 cats, that's enough- plus our course I would want my dogs to stay inside. My son wants a Siberian Husky.

I'm not sure about the coffee thing- maybe- it would be nice to meet you, are you not glad I at least trust you- you know why- you said you hate crime. Silly me thought you would protect me. You would.

If you are talking about all the movies it has to be :"The Jerk", I don't know how old you are but that movie is so so funny- I love anything with STeve Martin, we rented it for my son to see forgetting 20 years ago about the language- the t.v. version does not do it. Have you seen it. I do LOVE it.

On the serious side Mel Gibson did good with "The Passion" honestly I watched it don't know if I could again, would like to own it just because I think the movie comes close to what it might have been.

On another serious side "Places In the Heart" with Sally Fields- you have to see it- it's great.

I do like the areas you talked about, what about Fayetteville or Tyrone, do you have any favorites there- I kinda like a little more land not alot. More of a country feel but close to things? What would you suggest?

I had my Son on Dec. 30th, all I cared about was him being healthy- he came about 2 weeks early. I asked the doctor if he was okay and he said with a cry like that....... well he has not stopped since.

I thought the cute thing is when he held him up he said here is your tax deduction.

My friend calls up in Chattanooga and says I am in labor and it's Christmas Eve, I said great you will have a Christmas baby- she said I don't want to be in the hospital on Christmas. She was the baby came on Christmas Eve.

My doctor was out of town, in Texas for Christmas, well I must of though I should panic, blood pressure went up- A doctor I never seen delievered my baby- and guess what I had New Year Plans- well that changed my life in ways I can't stop telling you- Life has not been the same since then- I thank God for the gift of my son- I thought I would never have- I would have adopted though.

Now, I know all guys got a kick out of that- you asked so that's why I told you.

Merry Christmas

I said you stole what I was going to say with your Come to Bethelehem and see etc. I was kidding; actually I like this one

Happy Birthday Jesus, I'm so glad it's Christmas, all the tinsel and lights make the holidays bright, but the real gift if You. Etc.

Do you knows it? Our kids are doing it in their program- in between laughing at them and tears in my eyes they think I am a ding-a-ling.

So, with that- MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE FROM BPR!!!!!!

I want to wish a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the all the bloggers in one of the best internet forums around. It has been fun to agree on some subjects and respectfully agree on others, it’s what it’s all about!

And a very Merry Christmas to you and your family.

T28 (Trojan) are neat airplanes. But with "avgas" at $5 gallon and burning +80 gallons an hour of the stuff, the cost of ownership is beyond the reach of most mortal living people including airline captains.

And a Merry Christmas back at you. Hey if you got a few dollars to spare lets get together and buy this flying flivver. I've always wanted one of these.

T28D

Fuel Consumption = 1/2 pound of fuel per horsepower per hour. Assuming 1475 HP that comes to about 122 GPH at $5 a gallon.

Are you interested? Maybe Hack can join us.

She sure is pretty. Very tempting. I have to get ready to retire, I can't buy any toys. Sad for me. Of course if Hack went in on her with us, we share the expenses 3 ways.......

Ok I'm dreaming.

Merry Christmas cyclist, do you have this whole week off?

And Merry Christmas to you!!!!

The official answer is, yes I'm on duty. I'll find out today if I have to go to McAllen, Tx for a quick audit. Next week I'll be working out of the house. Not much work during the holiday period.

I suspect it might take more than a three way split to own one of these "real" airplanes. I remember reading Trade-A-Plane back in the early 70's and seeing these birds for sale for about $30K. Avgas was only $.45 a gallon. Them were the days!!!!

Cyclist, scroll down near the bottom of the page on that T-28D. The zinger is: "annual to be completed by buyer." OUCH!!! Interesting that they listed the annual complete 12/07. What up whith that?

Skyspy: Great story for me and my wallet. I have job number two in Oklahoma and I keep a car at the OKC airport. Last week, in the cold, icy Oklahoma wind, I got out to my car in the OKC parking lot and it, as Cyclist recalls, cranked and cranked and cranked without starting. I rented a car for three days at $70 per day (the unlucky walk up rate). When I left Oklahoma Friday, i tried the car again with no luck.
Well, I came back out today (Monday am) prepared to get a tow truck and a reputable mechanic. I went to the car AKA storage locker to get a receipt from the last mechanic I used, and tried the ignition just for giggles: VVVVRRRROOOOOMMMM!!!! yeah baby! Shagadelic! No tow bill. no repair bill. No rental car fee! My car just doesn't like 28 degree weather. For me, that's like a Christmas gift in reverse: One I didn't have to give Enterprise, ACME towing, or Andi the Auto doc! The people that saw me dancing in the parking lot must have thought I was nuts!

Hey Friend! Of course they thought you were nuts. Those folks ain't used to seeing no brother break dancing in no parking lot. Puzzled Where'd you think you were?

Great story and great news on your wannabe Vette. Now if you can keep that ice chased off for a couple of weeks i'd sure appreciate it.

Coffee has way more carcinogens in it than dog or cat meat! Be careful!
