ObservationsThere is no weather but our TV forecasters try to earn the big bucks which sponsor the weather by blabbing. An example: I will exhibit my graphic for you showing rain in Texas and moving NE. We may get rain Friday from that. I'll be right back to explain the rain..... Well the rain may go north of us but I originally thought it would hit on the GA, NC lines in the mountains, which of course is US! I'll be right back to explain that! Coaches: Now I know where players get some of that strange talk they do. Monday--I'm definitely staying here to continue the re-building program to win, you know... Training has begun in some areas of the country to teach firemen how to spy as they respond to fires. The government has given many of them expensive equipment since 9/11 and this is the payback. I suppose they will take notes as they fight the fire---foreign coins on the dresser, odd looking films on the coffee table, etc. Soon the plumber and electrician and trash man will join in. I think the postman already has. There is now concern just what will be in the Bush library when it is finished. So many papers have already been destroyed that it may be empty! I noticed a whole column of pictures of black men released lately after serving 15-25 years for crimes they did not commit when they finally got around to DNA testing. I see a difference in how black people appear! Some apparently don't! Delta Airlines will never learn! They are now going to board VIPs (those who have spent a lot of company money on tickets) first---no waiting, so they won't miss a meeting, I assume. Can you think of anything that would shake up the "peons" any more than that? Segways, which were rejected months ago because they are a motorized vehicle to be used on the cart paths, have now been approved! Anybody know who has money in that dealership? The County (Fayette) is going to a defined benefit pension---a hybrid with something else. I though employer pensions were dead! Might be too bad if they didn't all end up allowing people to retire with pension when they get fired, get sick at 23, get disabled at 30, after 15 years on the job, at 45 years of age, etc. And I don't really care in what restaurant you eat, what band you like, how smart your kids are,or where do democrats come from anyway? d.smith700's blog | login to post comments
