Stem Cells and Cloning Presentation Friday

Hi everybody.

Anybody see the advertisement on the right side of the page and in the print version of The Citizen for the Stem Cells and Cloning presentation? Here's some more info about it I found. I'm looking forward to going since this is a hot button issue nowadays, and I always appreciate learning more about a subject. Anybody else planning on going?

Ugh, I hate responding to my own blog (don't confuse me with other users, please! Sticking out tongue ), but I just want to add that we had a really interesting night. Josh Brahm was great and did a top notch job explaining the issues.

But you know one thing that impressed me was...Steve Brown showed up. I have to say that I'm really impressed that a busy guy like Mayor Brown took time out of his schedule to show up and learn more about pro-life issues. I also noticed he clearly didn't come just to do some politicking. He had several good questions which proved he was really listening to the presentation. None of the other candidates showed up, so it sure looks like Steve Brown truly cares about this issue.

I had an invite and knew several were going to be there. Mrs. Git had my night all planned out and when it all shook out they fell through and I wound up spending the evening watching Rudolph, The Little Drummer Boy, and The Santa Claus (Needn't worry... we do celebrate the True meaning of Christmas. I thought about it at the last minute and then it ocurred to me that I had not sent an RSVP. Lousy excuse I know.

Know I know that I missed the opportunity to meet several of you there. My loss.... Sad

MERRY CHRISTMAS and Vote Steve Brown In

If I can't get to Starbucks in time for today's meeting, all bloggers are welcome to regroup at 7:00PM at Heritage Bank. My understanding is that this will be much of the same material that prompted the debates between Josh and Basmati last June.

Hack, if you can find him bring Bas with you and I'll have a cup of Java poured for both of you Smiling

Bas can ask us his hardest questions and still be our welcomed guest. BTW-I suspect that at least three bloggers you enjoy debating (not a reference to $) will be there.

This is the way to blog!
