PTC code enforcement

Or is the word enforcement too strong? Maybe something like cart path enforcement?
How could Aberdeen get into such terrible shape, code wise. Trees growing through old cars?
I also see cars and carts and bikes and toys parked for days on the front grass at many homes. Obviously no code officer looks around--they couldn't miss it.
I did however figure out how they do what they do. All code tickets (tickets only--no fines have happened) are written ONLY upon another citizen "snitching" on a neighbor.
Everyone knows this and therefore won't snitch, since they know the violator will know who turned them in!
I don't like that kind of law enforcement.

I was going to comment on your "statement" above, but then something told me to check you out a little more.

You clearly did not read Mr. Munford's article. Perhaps you glanced at it and took from it only what you thought you would read. You clearly know nothing about municipal codes and the PTC Code Enforcement folks. As I said, I checked into you a little more, so let me continue with:

You clearly know nothing about sarcasim.
You clearly know nothing about humor.
You clearly know nothing about oil markets and gas prices.
You clearly know nothing about running for office.
You clearly know nothing about financial markets.
You clearly know nothing about race relations.

I could go on, but it is not worth the time. You clearly have lots of that available. That says quite a bit about you, considering how you chose to use it. Please, comment on the topics you are familiar with, but leave the starting of new threads and the wild statemnets alone. It is something you clearly know nothing about.

All kinds of codes are put into law just to satisfy a developer at the initial stages of building, or for purposes of bragging about what a great place this is to live, but really they aren't very popular with either the police or the homeowners.
The attitude is: if no one complains, what could be wrong?
I don't remember complaining myself about the moldy police station but some one must have!
We had a horse stable once in Glenloch but odors, due to lack of cleaning, finally closed it----not codes.
Boat launching areas on Kedron Lake were once common. Scarcity of water stopped that---not codes.
People leave bars on week-ends and some nights, drunk as a skunk, but most tickets are written elsewhere---wonder why?
Most traffic tickets are given in the safest areas (Robinson Road for instance)---not around the high school or on 54 in the City of Peachtree!
Noisy mufflers, tinted auto windows, loud music, have all been re-authorized apparently.
The squeaky wheel get the grease, and the oxen gets gored according to who owns it!
