Brown was right on impact of TDK Extension

Steve Brown kept saying if we stop TDK we could we could put a serious dent in the growth around it.

Here's the report on the TDK Lowes:

"Lowe’s potential lack of interest at the site now may have something to do with the city council’s scrapping of plans to extend TDK Boulevard over Line Creek and into unincorporated Fayette County. That road would have linked the city and Hyde’s property with the 3,000 home McIntosh Village project in unincorporated Coweta that has already been approved by the county government."

I think it's insane to hear development-nazis say TDK should still be built.

TDK and Ramsey

Goodness gracious. Reading the threads brings to mind the last PTC mayoral race when a mob of sourpuss pundits vomited their “facts” all over the Citizen Online. Unlike most who contribute here, I’m not certain about everything. First uncertainty: Ramsey’s position on extending TDK into Coweta County. Has anybody actually seen his position in print? Has anybody asked the guy what he thinks? Or are we all just assuming we know what he thinks? Git Real, why don’t you take the action to call Ramsey’s office, ask him, and report what he says? Second: I’m not certain, but I suspect the General Assembly in Atlanta doesn’t give a hoot about the TDK Extension. That’s a local issue in the hands of PTC’s council and mayor, Fayette and Coweta County commissioners. So it probably doesn’t matter what Ramsey thinks about the road. It’s up to the people in Peachtree City and Fayette County to speak up if they’re opposed. Takes little effort to find Maxwell’s or Logsdon’s number. There are many good reasons to oppose extending TDK into Coweta. Why don’t we spend electrons explaining them rather than whipping Mr. Ramsey?

Wow! Another Ramsey screen name. Yawn.... When are you guys going to come clean and confess who your real supporters are?

Well why don't you tell us where he stands on TDK? With the company he keeps it's pretty easy to assume what his stance is and why his pockets are bulging with 300 one hundred dollar bills. Eye-wink

Been there done that. He'll tell me exactly what I want to hear. I can pretty much surmise his stance by sizing up the company Lawyer Ramsey keeps. Plus I've got this great big ole stink bomb I'm itching to throw out in the middle of Lawyer Ramsey's lawyer and developer pack of weasels. Smiling

Then why have Mitch 'The Turncoat' Seabaugh and Congressman Wastemoreland spent so much time and energies on pushing TDK through the different obstacles that have and are needed to overcome in order to build it? For something so menial and local, as you would infer, the developers, lawyers, and the investors sure called out the big guns in trying to get this ram rodded down our throats.

Is Brown running Git Real?

Is Steve Brown running for Dan Lakly's seat? He has pretty much exposed the whole lot of them. I'd bet the house and the barn Git Real is right about them trying to get TDK built. I spoke to one of the construction guys on the police station at the McDonalds - Oh my God is that a mess!
