I'm very glad that the man was able to protect himself (especially since he's legally blind and more likely to be targeted by predators) and that more laws are favoring the victims rather than the criminals. Thanks for bringing these stories to our attention!

Denise, get your guns!!! Laughing out loud

You're welcome!

I'm glad you enjoyed it and hope more people stand up to the criminal element whenever possible.

I believe that there are more law abiding people in this world than not and we're about evenly matched when it comes to fire power. I think, with due diligence, we can one day wipe them out.

I'll do my part and if you and Git do your's, we're home free.

Have a wonderful day.

The trouble is the courts' letting the criminals off so easy and sentences being so greatly reduced. Why even bother to call it "life"?

Law enforcement officers risk their lives to apprehend criminals and then all too often they're let go, or receive minimal punishment. Then the criminals are back on the streets.

This reminds that I need to go to Autry's for some practice. I'm not sure that under similar circumstances I'd shoot nearly as well as the blind man did.

Enjoy the day!

This is good.

We need more of this and it needs to be headline news to give the criminals something to think about.

"Stand Your Ground" or "Shoot First" laws.

Bad, I do love these laws. I just pray I never need to exercise the right to protect my home, family, or self.

But Woodson's death seemed anecdotal compared to another Dallas resident who a few days earlier had killed his second robber in three weeks inside his home.

I see a reduction in burglaries in this Dallas neighborhood. Smiling

A Bad-PTC side note: I've got 3 new servers being installed this week. Much of it predicated on your previous advice. I am going to be sooooo.... 'cutting edge' Thanks Buddy!
