He ..still...doesn't say what he does for a living...nor does he comment on being reported to the ethics committe.

SLICK Dial

You are kidding? It's official, Dial is slick like Barry. Barry is really slick. SLICK people think nobody knows their "SLICK" because very few people are confrontational about this sort of behavior.

Most people avoid controversy at great length. (scientifically proven, google it). Some roll over to avoid conflict. That not a judgment call, it is a fact, we all handle controvery and negativity differently and everyone has a right to deal with it the way they see fit. It's just that it seems we have to deal with it so much anyway, with, ya know, life, who needs more stress from the government that you elected to represent you and that you pay their salaries with your taxes, property taxes and the like? SLICK people pray on people who just don't like a lot of trouble and don't want to get involved in a conflict with the town officials. They rely on it. Then they can do whatever they want, and remember they have control over a lot of money, mostly our tax money, as well as other things, like zoning.

But SLICK people think they are able to command you and when conflict avoiders don't say anything, the SLICK people think you are DUMB and easily led and easy to manipulate and they count on you not standing up for yourself. There are laws in this state and country that afford a lot of protection for people who are treated badly and suffer harm because of things that other people or governments do to them - ranging from mere negligence to assault and battery, fraud, violations of SEC, IRS, breaking the law and not following your own town laws and town government and its employees running all over people, and wrongful death, wrongful termination, discrimination. It just takes a step in the right direction to assert your rights and demand justice. Just speak out. Don't let fear keep you from doing anything EVER. That is not living.

Don't let the slick politicians continue to think you are dumb and don't care, when the town government of our collective little town is forced to act right they have to act right or at least a little closer to right than Tyrone does.

But I don't think people who are conflict avoiders are dumb. They still see the transparency, possibly better than those who are not so adverse to controversy, because they only observe. We are not all the same. I am sort of quasi-confrontational, not afraid of conflcit. But everyone stills sees and knows what has happened in Tyrone. Remember this when you vote on Nov. 6th.

Barry Amos asked the town council for a raise in salary this year and he got it. I am not absolutely sure about the details, will have to go look at the minutes.....but I think Grace & Gloria voted no and Latourneau and Smola voted yes and Mayor Lee broke the tie voting with Latourneau and Smola. Have you ever heard of such a thing? Darn, I am going to do some research to see how many times this has happened when the council votes. YA'LL ARE SO OBVIOUS, IT IS PITIFUL.

Eric Dial's Job

Eric has been a life long lobbist, a politcal operative and Lynn Westmoreland 'yes man' for his entire so-called employable life. He has never had a job where he has actually produced anything that benefits our society economically, yet he pretends to be an expert as a policy wonk. He and his buddies, Ronnie Chance, Westmoreland, are all clones that are cut from the same cloth.... Just a bunch of empty suited hacks.

Heck, at least Lynn Westmoreland has met a payroll before. Eric and Ronnie are more useless than even Lynn is. Shocked How scary is that?

Other than that...... they're actually pretty nice guys if you get to know them. Smiling

Eric Dial life long lobbist

That explains why he never says what he does for a living in his flyers. I wouldn't print that about myself either. Thank you, I've asked several people what he does and no one knew. So he is on the payroll of anybody pushing anything from tobacco to God knows what if the money is right? That also explains the picture of him with the law books behind him. I did find out he is ...not.. a lawyer. The thing that scares me is your last statement, 'other than that, they are pretty nice guys.' that is what scares me. People don't hire 'mouths' that aren't good salesman. After all the horrible things that have happened to the people of Tyrone, that is all they need a wolf in sheeps clothing. A paid lobbist. That is as bad as you can get in my eyes.

No Aries... I'm pretty certain that Eric does have more integrity than that. Eric has enough supporters, has worked enough campaigns, and has the abiility to raise the funds on his own accord. The guy is not evil. He just lacks what it takes to manage a business and/or public monies. Not to mention that he's a yes man for the local political hacks.

Google the subject along with the Safety & Prosperty Coalition of GA and Mike Wiggins, also go to www.safegeorgia.org and try to log on.....Integrity is questionable....but I do agree with the rest, I don't think I've ever called him evil, don't know him personally, so I can't speak to his parenting and spousal talents. Maybe he is athletic, I read he coaches baseball or buttball or what ever.

Ok, speaking of Dial, LOL! I'd feel like I could safely state that Eric is a good Christian man, Husband and dad. But, that doesn't mean his experiences and knowledge are suited for being an elected leader. The problem is that we have too many people in office who earn themselves up the lobby, campaign, political hack ladder. This is their life-long goal. Once you're in office these positions can be very lucrative to one's financial future not to mention the power trip these guys thrive off of. Have you ever seen a humble politician?

Like I say, Eric is not worth trashing on, other than the fact that he's tied in with with local hacks, who for the most part are obligated to the uncontrolled growth bunch. We've got enough of these guys in office. Not to mention the excess of lawyers we've foolishly elected. What we need to do is to try to weed out these characters regardless of party affiliation. We do this by electing more small businessmen, farmers, tradesmen of various sorts.... you get the picture. That's one of the reasons why I respected Mac Collins. Agree with him or not he knew what it took to meet payroll and tax obligations, along with the onerous responsibility of complying with government mandates that attack business owners from every unseen direction. Guys like Eric, Ronnie & Seabaugh are oblivious to the burdens they create for their constituents and their employers.

I'm voting for Shenkle. Well, I guess I'm not. I don't live in Tyrone. LOL!

Just remember. Tyrone, along with the rest of Fayette County is going to develop out, regardless of whether we like it or not. It's how we 'build out' that matters.
