VOTER ODDS NOW FAVOR SHENKLE

This week's repeated theft of Gordon Shenkle's signs adds votes, makes Shenkle the favorite in Council Post 2 race. A random 75 call telephone survey of Tyrone citizens, calling each letter in the Alphabet, shows an overwhelming disgust in dirty tricks politics. The citizens were asked, if you knew that a candidate for office in Tyrone was stealing his opponents signs, would you vote for his opponent? 39 said yes, 11 said maybe, 7 said no, 18 said I'm not voting. No names of candidates was mentioned. Statistically speaking its a 28 vote turn-around in favor of Shenkle.

Based on a 400 voter turn-out, the vote projection now is as follows:

Gordon Shenkle - 196 votes
Eric Dial - 145 votes
Jesse Nasianceno - 59 votes

Margin of error 10%

Vote polling predictions can never be exactly accurate, therefore some margin for error is always inserted. A real sure bet would carry a 2-3% margin. 10% was a beggining estimate. As more info comes in, that margin can rise or fall. More info has come in. Tyrone has 800 more registered voters in 2007 than in 2005. This favors the new non-government candidates Rehwaldt, Young, Shenkle and Dial. It is now known that Smola has no campaign election committee working for him. No real citizens want to help him. Smola has few signs up and they look like 3 x 5 note cards. The current margin of error is now reduced, to 7% plus or minus for all candidates except Shenkle - Dial which remains as a big 10% question mark?.
