Carpetbaggers and Scalawags

Now let me get these Tyrone government arguments straight? Am I to understand that some of our Southern born citizens wants to support a Boston Carpetbagger for Mayor? One whose architectural ideas and political philosophies would be music to Teddy Kennedy's ears? Do I have to keep fighting for my property rights; those rights my great, great, great, great granddaddy left his tiny one man South Georgia farm in 1862 and spent 9 months in a Chicago Federal prison for. You mean we got a bunch of Scalawags among us that support the Scalawag Barry Amos who lives in Peachtree City and wants the Carpetbagger for Mayor? Looks that way to me!

Let's hear your opinion on the issue. You seem to be the only pro-Amos person on here. Give us some good examples of Barry Amos, if you can.

Sorry, I am not going to whole north south thing. It is like religion and not a place for a political arena. My father was from NY and my mother was from NJ so that brings us to carpetbagger stance. That makes my family part of the problem according to your statements.
The times I have spoken with Barry he listened to what I had to say. Not to say that there have many conversations. I have had more talks with Dee when I paid my trash bill. She was nice. I feel that every piece of information that has been brought to the council from Barry has been researched. He seems to have the correct answers and valid information. To stand before as many people as he does, knowing the crappy things that have been said about him, shows some cajones.
Let me explain my angle in this arguement that I have with you. If I may? I FEEL that placing the blame on one or two people for an event that has been years in the making is not right. Like Katrina. Many people place the blame on President Bush for events that he had no control.
I am trying to look at the entire situation. The cemetary- there are vailid concerns and issues at hand. It has been a problem for years but seems to have only been recently discovered. There may things that are going on behind closed doors but I will never find them out because I am not behind closed doors. Hopefully things will be corrected for the families, the town's people that are involved and because it should be. I just do not believe that you can blame everything that is wrong on 2 people.
That is the most sincere random answers I can provide to you.
I am sarcastic and find that I type things just to goad answers from the TNAGs. That is wrong of me. I really feel that EVERYONE has something good to offer. I picked on Grace and Gloria because I know I will hit a hot button and often have. The ladies are just trying to do what they think is the best for this town. Smola and Paul are doing what they think is best for the town. Everyone has an opinion, you, hanky, obb, confusion, and shugah, opinions are like tater holes and with out them we would be dookeying out our ears.
Now....this is the most I have ever blogged in my life. Can we have a 5 minute time out to not tick each other off.

I support the church of the painful truth

"The cemetary- there are vailid concerns and issues at hand. It has been a problem for years but seems to have only been recently discovered. There may things that are going on behind closed doors" The cemetery has lain there peacefully for about a 150 years. Its been a good neighbor to the people around it and no one has ever had to call the cops on its inhabitants. The problems have only happened in the past 2 or 3 years since it was sold. The cemetery has never 'been a problem', how can you say that?, the disrespectful attitude of the live has been the problem. Never letting a subdivison go through proper steps that everyone else follows, that was the problem. Why did this happen? Making so many exceptions for this subdivsion that the living and the dead are at a disadvantage there. Why? Not making the developer get a permit in the same manner as everyone else does who has a cemetery on the land and wants to put 5 houses with an easement in there. Why? The town manager neglecting to inforce State Laws concerning cemeteries! Why? There are 3 people who signed off on those plats and gave the developer all these advantages at the exspence of the cemetery. town manager, mayor and whatever valerie is, are the 3 that signed off on both platts. Why don't you ask them why they did it and then come back and have a conversation. Ps..if you want to root for the underdog...how bout the people buried in the cemetery. There were 2 childrens graves, now there is only one. You pity is very missplaced!
