Televangelists have a bad name with many, but their scandals are becoming un-American.
ORU apparently is being run by very selfish people, just as was PTL and others.
At least three professors, I think they are legitimate, say so, along with some students, so far.
They are apparently co-mingling University money with Evangelistic money, but they don't see the difference!
Of course the top dogs there are denying everything, every detail.
They are also co-mingling their ministry with the University. The wife is a pastor--ministering to students at all hours of the night with gift cell phones, charged to the University.
One trip, with guard escort, for four hours, to take a daughter to a special hospital for cancer treatment, was paid by the University.
I suppose they gave back token amounts from the ministry, but who can tell?
Since some of that family claims to have caused dead people to arise from the dead, why didn't they eliminate the cancer on site? I know this sounds blasphemous, but it is my understanding about someone who would claim that without anyone declaring them dead who is officially allowed to do do.
Obviously they are catering to the troubled.
