At least you have the honesty to recognize how Americans have benefitted form the "illegal" labor (rrofing, construction, lawn service, tree service, nanny, hotel maids, vegetable and fruit pickers, etc, etc, etc). Now it is time to recognize how much those "illegals" have subsidized your lifestyle and have saved you MONEY. Shame on those who now cry foul for them not paying taxes while reaping the fruits of their almost slave labor.

The federal government is not going to do one thing to the illegals because our economy would fail if they did. Large corporations rely heavily on cheap labor i.e. hispanics (illegal or otherwise) and these big corporations have the largest lobby groups - check out K street lobby and others. It's a pickle for the republicans because they can't bite the hand that feeds them!!
